Just heard Bernt Boente (Vitali's manager) has retracted Vitali's agreement to fight (via SKY) Bernt obviously wants more Mormeck nights...

Maybe someone should tell Bernt Boente that he works for Vitali...Vitali said today he wants the fight, so why's Bernt Boente Bitching Out?

This is getting silly now! Vitali gave another interview via RTL (in ring) and said "I WILL be his next fight" Bernte looked pissed off haha

I agreed in Dec' all terms for Vitali fight, Money,rematches (when i win), location, gloves, allocation of comp tickets etc..fight is on!

After hearing Vitali's interview on SKY, I feel he's not been given all the facts by his team about me! As I HAVE already agreed all terms!

Somebody (ANYBODY) ask Bernt Boente(at press conference) CLEARLY if David Haye already agreed terms in Dec, just ask him for clear YES or NO

David Haye: Politics may dash my world heavyweight title shot at Vitali Klitschko

David Haye has claimed that Vitali Klitschkos handlers are trying to block a heavyweight world title fight this summer because they fear it could hinder the Ukrainians political ambitions.

Klitschko, 40, said over the weekend that he wanted to defend the World Boxing Council heavyweight title against former World Boxing Association title-holder Haye, 31.

I have offered Dave Haye the opportunity to fight for the world title, said Klitschko after watching his younger brother, Wladimir, retain the WBA, World Boxing Organisation and International Boxing Federation titles with a fourth-round knockout of Frances Jean Marc-Mormeck in Düsseldorf.

I need Haye to say yes. I would be happy to knock him out.

However, those comments were at odds with those expressed by Bernd Boente, manager of the Klitschko brothers, who insisted that Haye is demanding a ridiculous guarantee in insisting on 50 per cent of the British pay-per-view revenue.

And Haye told Telegraph Sport he feared political consideration might scupper the contest.

I think Vitali wants to fight me, because he has got a lot of pride. But I think hes had a lot of money invested in him to become the mayor of Kiev, and potentially the president of Ukraine, and his advisers, and the people who do his negotiating arent going to let Vitalis ego get in the way of something that could potentially cost him tens of millions of pounds.

There is so much riding on his political career, he wants to fight guys like Dereck Chisora, who he can guarantee a victory over.

Fighting me is not in his interests. The word in Ukraine is that his people cannot afford for him to lose against me, or not knock me out, as he has told the Ukrainian people he will do what his brother could not do and knock me out.

We agreed the terms in December. We agreed the purse and the terms. We asked for the contract to come over to us, but it didnt happen for whatever reason. Then the fight with Chisora was announced.

Then they got a whole new calculator out, and started saying that German broadcaster RTL were not paying them as much as they thought they were going to get to fight me which I dont believe and now here we are.

Ive already agreed the finances for the fight. But all of a sudden I am asking for too much money and supposedly making crazy demands.

"I have agreed to one of my lowest purses for a heavyweight title fight. I understand Im not the champion now so I cant demand the type of money I would as champion.

Haye was back into the gym training late last week after returning from a weeks holiday in Las Vegas.

However, there are still outstanding issues to be resolved. Haye must first attend a hearing into his brawl with Chisora in Munich, before his licence is renewed by the British Boxing Board though technically he could be licensed by another countrys board while German police may still want to interview him in connection with the fracas with Chisora.

The Munich Police Department confirmed to the Telegraph Sport on Sunday that the investigation was still in process in the hands of a police attorney.

Meanwhile, Amir Khan has been installed by the WBA as their super world champion at light-welterweight ahead of the rematch with Lamont Peterson in Las Vegas on May 19.

Report: Vitali Klitschko announced that he'll fight Haye next

Vitali Klitschko announced on Saturday that he will face David Haye in his next fight but no date was announced, Reuters is reporting.

However, Klitschko's U.S. advisor, Shelly Finkel, told RingTV.com that the announcement was premature.

"It's not true unless David Haye comes to the table with what we asked for. Otherwise, no," Finkel said.

Klitschko made the announcement to the crowd at Espirit Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany, after Wladimir Klitschko stopped Jean-Marc Mormeck in four rounds.

I can announce that my next fight will be with David Haye, Klitschko said.

Haye Tweeted, according to Reuters: Vitali has just finally agreed to fight me in a live RTL (television) interview. He told me I will be his next fight. Lets get ready to rumble."

Haye was outpointed by Wladimir Klitschko in July.

This is the transcript of the RTL interview that Haye refers to in his first tweet:

Vitali Klitschko: "If the [two] fighters want to fight with each other, then I see no reason that would prevent them from doing so. But, David, do not forget: you are no longer the champion "

David Haye: "I know that, but we agreed to everything with your people in December. Let's do it. Let us give the fans what they want. "

Vitali Klitschko: "Great. I would be happy to fight with you. "

David Haye: "Well, when? And how is your shoulder? "

Vitali Klitschko: "Do not worry, [for] the next fight I'll be in top form. I don't see much of a problem [with the shoulder]. If we both want to fight, I'd be ready for it in the next few months."

David Haye: "I am ready when you are ready, Vitali. When everything is agreed [upon], then we'll have this fight for the fans. I would be very, very happy."

I can't be bothered with the bull****. Considering how difficult the brothers are to negotiate with, is it a surprise that they might be being difficult with Haye?

And considering how difficult he is to deal with...

You see where I'm going with this. One's as bad as the other.
