I'm bored of this *****. But if it does happen I just hope Vitali knocks him out so we can finally see the back of him in boxing.
I think it's different fight from the Wlad or Valuev ones though. Even this old version of Vitali comes to fight, he seems to enjoy a tear up unlike his brother. Whether Haye likes it or not he's going to have to throw and engage.
I'd love for nothing more than a Haye win, I'm still a fan. As a Heavyweight it's certainly been underwhelming, but as a Cruiserweight he was my favourite fighter and fights of his, or the prospect of them, still get me excited.
Promotionally? No. In terms of actual fights? Yes. Ignoring Povetkin, there's Dimitrenko, Helenius (assuming he's recovered from his injury by the time Vitali has recovered from his) or even Boytsov, an Arreola rematch or Chambers. I'd rather see any of them fight Vitali, as I don't expect Haye to actually back up his words nor have I been impressed with him at all in his heavyweight run.
You are not a boxing fan, you are a German who happily pays whatever and fills a 50,000 seat stadium to watch **** dry. Chambers, Arreola, Boytsov...get a ****ing grip ***Why is it that whenever I read a post by a Klit fan it always sounds like Schwarzenegger in my head
Sorry mate but none of those fights will be as much "fun" as Haye-Vitali. Maybe I'm just not a purist though, eh? Which one would you HONESTLY look forward to watching the most?
I dont blame David Haye for his negativity when fighting a Klitschko, they are massive Heavyweights with huge power and Haye knows himself he aint gifted with the best of beards. It is a massive ask for him to be competitive and if he can go and take them the distance then I also dont mind him shouting the odds or feeling he possibly could stop them if he landed flush. If he fights Vitali he will hope to avoid punishment and take the fight into the latter stages if possible, where, I'm sure he believes he has the best chance of pulling off a massive upset should his opponents tire or get sloppy and leave openings. I'lll be rooting for Haye! :good
Will you be going Gaz? We can split a hotel room if you like (2 single beds obviously) i will bring my Russell Grant book that i got for christmas and you can bring your telescope, im a virgo what are you?
Why would wanting to watch David Haye fight Vitali make me a "boxing fan"? Because Haye's good at running his mouth and selling a fight? Woop-de-****ing-do. When have I ever claimed I was? :nono My point is that I have no interest in watching Haye fight a Klitschko as I don't buy the hype. He's not beaten anyone of note as a heavyweight, and didn't put up a fight against Wladimir. I'm not convinced he's going to fight any differently against Vitali. And as much as I'd be glad to see him knocked out so it puts Haye to rest, it's the inevitable David Haye love-in from Sky Sports that I can't be arsed with.
