I don't get the Klitchko hype at all. He is one of the worst champions in HW history. Vitali i get, Wlad i don't. He has no balls. Solid technique, great amateur pedigree but his chin is terrible and his lost his bottle. Haye would be all over him like a dog on heat
More like Haye's face would be all over Wlads fist like flies on crap. Haye gets DESTROYED in a fight with Wlad today, tomorrow, next year and even three years from now.
The reference to Haye being the next Razor Ruddock is an insult to Razor Ruddock.. Klitschko was winning amateur titles when Haye was wearing Napies.. He is the next duane Bobick , decent but limited, he can bang but only to a certain level.. When he is good he is very very good.. when he is crap he is shite.. The comments as to why he is similar to Ruddock though are very close to the truth, he never listened to much advice because he thought he knew best .. Unfortunate for both they never won a belt at heavyweight.. God bless.. He is the mini me version of Audley..
Obviously Klitschko can win without his right. If he fought Haye tomorrow, he would probably knock him out Ray Austin style
Haye also has an excellent amateur pedigree. He is also a far better heavyweight prospect than Audley Harrison. I don't think he is as limited as people think. And anyway, I would hardly call either Klitschko a versatile fighter. Jab, Jab, Jab, do me a favour.
Klitschko is far better schooled than Haye and is a far naturally heavier man.. Haye never made anything of Olympics and Wladimir was the solid winner in his class of 1996... Haye lost to a cruiserweight puncher who openly admitted he was scared of Johnny Nelson on TV.. Wlad is a 2 time and current 2 belt holder at heavyweight and is a lot more than a jb jab jab man.. you need to ask somebody.. God bless..
That was me that compared him to Razor Ruddick, the guy had all the talent in the world, but he refused to listen to his corner, often times engaging in toe to toe action, when he should of stuck to outboxing his oppenents, with his superior jab. I remember Floyd Patterson almost having a heart attack in the corner watching Ruddick, who he himself had a shaky chin and a powerful punch, which is similiar to Haye as well.
I disagree with those that said his chin cant get any better. Alot of guys chin has gotten better as they aged. Ali and Foreman both being an example who had much better chins when they were older and heavier. **** old foreman was never on the mat, pretty amazing difference in chin from the 70s he had.
Most of Foremans early knockdowns came from stamina issues, only big hitter Ron Lyle had him hurt by mostly punches. Haye's chin will not improve, if anything it will get worse.
And hayes loss was through stamina and his knockdown by mormeck was from being weight drained. His reflexes are possibly the best in the sport he's hard to hit clean and makes you miss. He will be very hard to hit clean by heavyweights
I will give the Thompson fight, but not Mormeck. As far as him being hard to hit, his defense might be one of the worst a seen from a supposed elite, and considering the fact he has a suspect chin. I'm not knocking Haye, the guy has alot to offer to the Heavyweight division, talent and personality wise, but I do see him going down a good bit at Heavyweight, his chin will be a an easy target for the big hitting Heavyweights, most Heavyweights already felt his type of power, Haye hasnt felt a big punching Heavyweights power before.
He has power AND speed. He will land at will against the slower bigger heavyweights. He could be a disaster up there who knows? , i'm just going by what i've seen following his career. People forget he's only had 23 fights and he's already undisputed cruiserweight champ. This is no mean feet. He's still learning and improving and has yet to peak. At his natura weight 220lb i fully expect him to be a absolute beast in a **** division.
