David Haye KO Loss To Audely Harrison Excuse Thread

Just get this thread started nice and early before the big fight Saturday..............

Just so all the Haye - Bumboys, Fanboys, Hangers on, Glory Hunters - can post their excuses at him losing his WBA title to Audley "A Force" Harrison - a fight Haye was expected to win easy.

I'll start with a few just to give you a idea of things you could come up with.............

I made a mistake (always a classic excuse).

New Baby kept me up at night.

Looking past the Audely to the Klitschkos.

Done my back in sparring 2 weeks before the fight and Adam Booth wanted him to call it off - but didnt want to let the fans down and went through with the fight.

Food posinining the day befoere the fight.

Adam Booths fault (not fit to be a world champion trainer)

Inactivity - havent fought for ages

Too busy putting all my efforts into promoting my new Magazine - didnt have time for training sessions.

I let him beat me - felt sorry for him - wanted him to fufill his destiny.

Excuse to retire early.

Audely sneaked a metal wrap into his gloves.

I've watched a few Hatton fights from back in the day - up in the Manchester way.

Look carefully into the crowds - and you can spot this 12 foot guy in a well ironed suit singing along to Blue Moon.

 

Thats the most obvious one.

What - with his last fight since Ruiz he has done alot............

Colin Jones is familar with David Haye - because he has been commetating on the amateur scene for years and seen Haye at many competitions.

He said that Haye is basically very good on top fighter - but not near so good when he cannot dominate.

He will struggle dominate a man as physically imposing as big Audely who is looking like Lennox Lewis this week with his laid back attitutde and beanie hat on.
