He looked like the old Julian Jackson, you know you can maybe outwork him for some round, but you have

It was two shots this time. It was setup by an uppercut and then the huge right. But yeah, when Haye loads up, it can be killer.

True. The only place Haye-Enzo could happen would be super-cruiserweight.

I can't see him doing it at heavyweight without a vast improvement in defence. If he gets tagged at heavyweight, he won't recover.

Hmm, maybe not a bad comparison. Julian didn't have the most solid whiskers either but punched like a mule. Still dubious about him at HW though!

    Congrats Haye!

He backs off with his hands down, and he keeps his hands down to save oxygen.. he's not going to be able to do that against a true heavyweight bomber like Wlad or Chagaev.

Mormeck was really ready to fight. Haye beat a 100% Mormeck fair and square in his hometown and it's impressive. I thought the fight would end the ??? about Haye but he is still an enigma for me. Such a powerful right hand...but before that this 4th round KD (he admitted he was nearly out !) + the fact Haye was outboxed from times to times. This guy should fight Maccarinelli at cruiser. Forget Klitschko and the big men who hit MUCH harder that Mormeck. Don't do a Herbie Hide :fantastic fights can be done at cruiser.

Nah. There's a difference between having a vulnerable chin and having an empty space below your mouth where you keep the family china.

But will he get tagged much at all? He'll be very quick and he won't have to boil down to a weight clearly below natural for him, so I suspect he'll take shots better too.

What's with Haye practically dragging his left hand on the floor? If he doesn't fix his defense he will have big problems at HW. He has great power, decent size, and good hand speed, but who the **** is his trainer letting him walk in with his ****ing hands down? He's not exactly slick like Toney to get away with it.He should stay at cruiser for a while and work on it before risking a move to Heavy.

I disagree. His last fight was at heavy (against Bonin). He should take 3 or 4 fights at HW against mid-lower tier fighters, with the instruction to work on his defence.

Haye is my favourite fighter. I have grave concerns over his defence. He looked finished when he got knocked down and recovered well. I just think he well get caught too often at heavyweight.
