Thats very true, he had no bounce at all, and I'm pretty sure that losing the weight for this fight killed him. Not to mention he went down from what looked like a glancing shot, I know he's got a weak chin, and the commentator said he slipped on a advertising board or something, but if thats the result of him draining 25lbs every time he fights then I dont blame him for moving up.

BUT STILL he managed to KO Mormeck, on 70%. If he can do that weight-drained, not at his best, then at heavy I think he'll be good. The power Haye carries at cruiserweight is stunning, those bodyshots took the wind out of Mormeck and when the chance for the KO came he took it ruthlessly.

Realistically, he almost got Kayoed in the 4th. I wish he would keep his left hand up more, Mormeck kept going over his guard, and kept landing with the right. He seemed very drained in that fight, and I think he will be much stronger and fitter at heavyweight.

But he showed great heart in that fight, and took some good overhand rights from Mormeck pretty well. His chin aint glass, but he needs to stop holding his left hand by his waist. His defense is more of a problem than his chin imo. What a KO though, this guy is a savage puncher. The future is very bright for Haye, he has some great attributes, and should get much more exposure after this fight. He just needs to work on his defense, simple things really and he can be special at heavyweight.

And what a week for British boxing. We have now 2 undisputed, unified WBC-WBA champs who are undoubtedly the kings of their divisions.

Its true, its not his chin thats the problem. Mormeck is a big puncher, and he recovered well from the knockdown. Its his defense and lazy left hand thats gonna ruin him. Chin is average, defense is porous
