The Hayemaker is big enough to blast the entire heavyweight division out with just 1 shot.

As david haye said to his bigger opponents "your all bums and you'll get knocked the *+!% out!"

I think Haye's said he's around 230 lbs which I think will be enough. He's also 6 foot 3 so he's not a small guy by any means. That said I expect him to outclass Monte come the 15th. :thumbsup

6'3" is the same as Dawson.

I expect Dawson to fill up and be CW soon. Will he try HW too?

    And?

The Legendary Sam Langford who fought many HW fights, started at 130.

HW champion Floyd Patterson had many fights at 165.

SMW Champ Mikkel Kessler fought his first dozen fights at 154 and below

    and so on.

Doesn't change that Dawson is a young huge LHW who very likely will grow in CW and perhaps HW.

Dawson isn't even a big LHW, he could go straight into SMW with ease so im not sure why everyones always yapping about that.

Haye isn't going to come in under 220, he was 217 against Bonin. We have been over this already, you actually think hes going to lose 12 pounds, for his HW debut, after he has already came into a HW fight as a CRUISERWEIGHT at 217. Baffling.

At 6'3" he is far bigger than Calzaghe, Hopkins etc. these other known LHW's.

The guy he defeated Adamek is 6'2" and is now CW.

Dawson is taller than these guys. He is just young and putting on muscle will naturally advance him in weight.

Kessler fought several pro fights weighing 152. Now he has grown to 168 and he is only 6'1".

Dawson is lanky and he has to b if he wants to stay in weight with his tall size. Logic says that a 6'3" fighter will make make LHW easily forever. Haye is 6'3" like Dawson and is now HW.

Theres more to being "big" than height, Pavlik's the height of a LHW but he was built like a girlscout at 170. Paul Williams is about 9 foot even but he has the build of a 12 year old girl.

Chad Dawson makes weight VERY easily, he could make SMW, he is not a huge LHW right now. Tall, yes. He may get bigger as he is such a young guy and through weights training over the next few years he will bulk up, but right now he makes weight fine and there is no reason for him to move to CW. If he moves to CW he is pretty much saying goodbye to a big career as a p4p fighter, it doesn't make any sense.

Now we agree. I agre that it looks like he can make weight now. And mostly because younger boxers find it easier, but the norm is that once they hit 28-30 it gets tough. You also mention as he starts working on his power and doing some weights he will zoom out of LHW range. He is only able to be there now because he is so lanky. I think he should stay as long as he can, I'm just not sure how long that is once he matures.
