stupidness of the thread started haye was coming into cruiserweight fights at least 210 atsch atsch Its all about natural build and his natural build is a hevayweight and i think you will nfind 6'3 is a good height for a hw.
Haye looks ok.....im more concerned with Barrett constantly commenting on Haye being a great looking lad!
Thee is no way on this earth that Haye is as low as 205lbs. That's only 5lbs above the weight limit he's been killing himself to make in the las few years. I saw an interview with Haye about 3 months ago in which he said he weighed around 15 stone 6 which equates to 216lbs. I think 230 will be his eventual comfort zone but perhaps just under for now.
No he does not. He looks a perfect size for a 6'3 heavyweight. Just because a lot of guys are overweight, it ain't an advantage.
Haye just has narrow shoulders it is an illusion he will be 230 lbs or so. It won't matter as he has a Glass Jaw and it will get shattered.
He has not got a glass jaw. people say this because of the Thompson fight when he was over matched in his 11th pro fight against a notoriously hard world champion. He had never had never faced a genuine 12 rounder opponent and did not pace himself. I've seen him being hit a lot harder since and he's been fine. He was later knocked down by mormeck but got up to KO the frenchman. Now that he is no longer weight drained and his fitness is no longer an issue I think we will see his punch resistance improve dramatically although fitness may become an issue in the latter rounds which Haye has fought in only once previously against a very limited Abdoul.
I remember David as an underdeveloped Light heavy in the amateurs, (probably close to a pro supermiddle) he was very heavy handed back then, He has come an awful long way since then.. I think David will be as dangerous as he is vulnerable , no matter of size etc.. Monte is very similar in most aspects to David, but is the more experienced heavyweight of the two.. Its a very Intriguing fight actually.. God bless...
Davids body is a perfect light heavyweight / cruiserweight frame.. But he has packed it perfectly to its extreme to be able to contend with Barrett for starters.. I expect David to come in at about 223lbs , just under 16 stone but ripped to shreads at that, Its the heart and desire that will play more heavily in that fight.. Both men really want that extra step up towards the Klitschko fight. or in Barrets case (rematch) LOL...
Perhaps Haye looks smaller because his already at his fighting weight where as Barret will lose some weight during the intense session of his training. But this is all way to speculative. EDIT: Haye will definitely weigh more than 205 pounds. Try somewhere around 220.
At 6 foot 3, about 230 lbs, and ripped to the gills with muscle, Haye is a bonafide heavyweight, period. He probably has more power than most heavies, and is as big as most of them, and much more muscular than most of them.............. He's a heavyweight, no question, and no excuses.
