Couldn't have said it better. The irony is that 'unworthy' Toney will take a real challenge when facing dangerous Tony Thompson while Haye plays it safe by fighting Barrett. Haye wanted no part of either Toney or Thompson. What's more, if Toney beats Thompson he deserves a title-shot while Haye won't prove **** by beating Barrett and still has to beat a 'true' top ten HW in order to get in line for a title-shot. Toney-Thompson (if it happens) will be a far more important fight for the HW division than Haye-Barrett.

I defintely agree with you. Haye has discredited himself before his heavyweight campaign even started.

No, Barrett isn't a "fat slob". Barrett is a "38 year old journeyman" who doesn't have "any good wins". Haye is a such a moron.

People were getting ****ing disgusted his with nonstop big shot talk, and then not wanting to fight a real opponent ( or even decent opponent). He called JD Champman the ideal opponent. Finally Haye is starting to talk like a rational human being. Haye seems to be well aware that he has a very poor chin, and needs to protect it; that will benefit him. He knows Barrett could lay him out, if he lands clean.

"I've been going on about heavyweights being big fat slobs and this guy isn't. Monte is going to come after me. He's fast, he's coming off three spectacular knockout wins. If he hits me with the same shots he hit [Tye] Fields with, I'll probably end up in the same position as he did [knocked out in the first round]. I can't afford to get hit with those bombs."

Monte Barrett knows that when Haye gets hit at Heavyweight, he is going to fold big time. I think Barrett has a pretty good chin, he took an incredible amount of punishement aganst Vladimir before being KO'd. He kept getting up from massive shots. Against Valuev as well.

It would be funny if this fight ends up like Michael Bennt vs Tommy Morrison.
