It is commendable - but not as much as you first might think. Celebs do give lots to charity's because they are perceived as heros in the public eye - as they do a good deed. But the sweetener for them is it is TAX DEDUCTABLE. Often a case of giving it to a worthy cause INSTEAD of to the tax man.

Not broke but his bank balance isn't what it should be considering his name and the level at which he has been fighting at for most of his career.

Either way, it is still a £100,000 deficit in his bank account.

blackwell would not be registered as a charity and would not be tax deductable.

No doubt they don't have the money to pay anyone decent.

Depending on what Haye was earning I think Briggs would want more. £100k isn't great when you take away manager costs, camp costs and taxes.

    Briggs will want more.

That's what I meant, he would pocket 100k net pay, after expenses. so whatever the gross amount that could be.

A person could live modestly in an apartment for quite a while at 100k.

Maybe but say Haye would be taking home £500k I could see Briggs saying no.

I would actually love to know how much Haye has earned from the last two fights.

I'm curious too. I guess he's been taking these bum fights, hoping to cash out big time against AJ which suggests he needs money like Pacquaio
