Just heard that Haye/Wlad is gonna be a 60,000 sell out. This is a remarkable achievement and is obviously gonna make all parties concerned a shed load of money.

You have to give Haye his props for this as his trash talking seems to have worked a treat, firstly in securing the fight and then ensuring that the tickets sold like hot cakes.

On the flip side, however, he also seems to have succeeded in seriously pissing Wlad off and firing his motivation to knock him out. Something else I didn't realise until the promo shoots were published is how much smaller Haye is to Wlad.

I can't help but think he has bitten off more than he can chew as he has very little to no experience of taking on guys the size of the Klitchkos. On top of all of that he's gonna have ruined his credibility if he gets sparked out after all the mouthing off he has done.

What do you guys reckon? Has he played a blinder or is he gonna look like a prize ***** and get knocked out cold? The mind boggles.

Haye is not a bad guy, trust me. He's just putting backsides on seats. As has been discussed no-one in Germany knew who he was but now 10million do after watching the press conference. Now he's known. He's got the world's attention and more importantly Wlad's - hence you get a sell-out and a fight that the fans can't wait for to see if Haye can back it up and 'shock the world' or get put on his ass.

Good boxer but a total *****.

He has alot of bottle and I support him for that but jeez I will **** myself if Wlad KO's him in apocalyptic fashion, if Haye wins I will pretend I liked him all along.

Not a great promoter. Crap under cards and too easy on his prospects.

He's got a title fight in his second proper fight at the weight. I'd say he's played a blinder, if he's had to be a bit gobby to get himself there then thats just part of the game.

I don't think he has a big say in the promotional side of things - it's just an association with his name that's all. Adam Booth sorts that side out.

Lets be frank here if Ali was fighting today would we love him? The way he hounded Liston and totally disrespected Frasier is a lot worse than what Haye is doing with a two-bit t-shirt.

True but we only loved him afterwards when he proved he could walk the walk. Would have been a whole different story if he had been sparked out.

    He is a great promoter.

Watch his television appearances on the likes of soccer am and you will realise he is a good guy.

Why the hell would Haye be worried about putting bums on seats? He gets nothing off the stadium revenue. It is simply his style to be dismissive of his opponent.

Mouthy, good start to his promotional work individually and as the collective Hayemaker.

Ssshhh. If he hadn't done that do you think the world's media would've latched on to this fight the way they have? Would the fight have been a sell-out in such time, no. Haye had to do something with this promotion to get the world talking about it. Job done.

He did very well goading Wlad into the fight in the first place. Lest we forget, though, it was Wlad who was the one that chose Haye in the end, realising the financial potential of their encounter. Since then, Haye's done a great job selling the event, but the T-shirt antics were a low move and led more to some of his core support feeling alienated than to casual fans being attracted to the event. In other words, he went too far for little promotional gain, in my view.

To get a 60,000 sell out is some effort, regardless of Wlads popularity in Germany, gotta be good promoter for me!
