I thought his antics were a bit tacky originally but seeing how much of a stir it's caused and how much it's built the fight up I take my hat off to him.

Mouthy yes but with a plan, it's been a great move to completely **** off the Klitchsko's.

He's got the fight he wanted against the brother he wanted.

Wlad hates his guts so much the red mist has already descended!!
He's going to get in that ring with hate inside and the gameplans going to erode away as the bombs are thrown.

It could completely backfire but Haye needs any angles he can get against the far bigger man.

Couldn't disagree more. He needs to raise his profile on the world stage for the future (assuming he wins) so he does have a vested interest in making this a huge event. Also if you watch the press conference for the Monty Barrett fight Haye is really quite respectful. It's part of the game that he's rattled Klitschko and long long overdue in my opinion

 

How do you know the contract doesnt work on, say for example a 75-25 split? If the money gained from stadium revenue is pooled together with the television rights, im sure it would be in Hayes interest to put bums on seat.

I dont think that the face that we see at the press conferences is the real David Haye. Privatley I think he is likeable. I got the idea from the body language in some photoshoots that the Klitschko brothers quite liked him.

Of course now he has to deliver..................

 

quite simply great at self promotion, not so sure about promotor yet, lets see him once his career in the ring is finished before we decide how good a promotor he can be.
