Fury has looked impressive in his two fights since the Haye fight fell through. He has added a lot to his game and looks a lot less porous defensively and he looks less predictable. Before that though, when the Haye fight was made, most people didn't think that Fury offered any real serious threat to Haye.

Boxing seems to be the only sport in the world were fans don't believe it when a fighter is injured. Considering how obviously rough boxing is, and considering the shape fighters have to whip themselves into for a fight (it is not like other sorts where you play week in week out so your training is not as intensive) it is obvious to see that injuries would happen quite often.

 

Who cares what most people think most people are casuals

Serious boxing experts had it a 50/50 fight

Only the British media thought haye was the favourite

The way they lie about non-British boxers is a disgrace

A week before the fight the bookies realised the money they were going to lose and haye was forced to pull out by the dark forces inside boxing

Oh and Fury has had 3 fights since haye ducked him not 2 do some research

Some serious boxing fans might have thought the fight was 50/50, but many others thought that that version of Tyson was too open, too slow and too one dimensional for Haye.

Tyson Fury can fight on the outside and the inside in either stance that's 4 dimensions right there so how exactly is he 1 dimensional ?

Until the proposed Haye fight, Fury had never shown that he could effectively fight on the back foot or out of the southpaw stance. In fact, when he would get pushed back he would practically run backwards, arms out and have his chin up in the air. He has worked on these faults, but, until the Chisora fight we had not seen this.

Fury is quick for a man his size, but he is slow in comparison to Haye.

It is all very good to look at Fury today, but that wasn't the Fury we saw leading up to the Haye fight. Fury was improving, but he was still far to open for a fighter of Haye's speed, reflexes and power.

Fury has fought for the Irish title in the pro's and I believe he may have fought for Ireland as well as Britain in the am's due to his heritage, but considering he was born in Britain and still lives here, I would suggest that that makes him British. He may very well have dual nationality, I don't know, but most of the British press describe him as British with Irish traveller heritage.

I suggest you watch Fury vs either maddalone or johnson which both took place BEFORE the haye fight idiot
