David Haye - Nikolay Valuev Presser

With all of this, I'm not sure that I want Haye to win anymore, although I think he will.
On the other hand, in the clip he wasn't being offensive, it's just with the reported comments and that idiot next to him with the slightly racist parody.

 

Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if Haye won this even if he deserves a beating like a red-headed stepchild for being a ******. But just for the sake of setting us up for some good showdowns, e.g. vs. Wlad or a bit later e.g. vs. Solis it would probably be better than Valuev KOing Haye. Valuev does us no good.

It won't be easy to win this for Haye and I don't even think he's the clear favorite here. He will have to use his brain and legs more than his fists in this fight.

The only problem I have with Haye winning is then he will run his mouth how he's the "real HW champ" and how the Klitz were always ducking him. And that's just BS.

 

That was pathetic ..I hope the fight is better than this ..

I think Valuev is actually a pretty nice guy and I hate when people just pick on him for his size and appearance. He doesn't suck as most people would lead you to believe and has actually done quite well for him self in the sport of boxing. His size, which is a very big asset to him, is also a big disadvantage because it limits his speed and agility. He can only be so fast. However his handspeed for a guy that size is better than expected. Also, because of his lack of natural athleticism he has worked to really perfect his technique.

Despite not being a heavyhanded puncher Valuev is huge nonetheless and his weight coming down behind his punches will be something Haye has yet to experience first hand. Haye could in for a surprise if he overrelies on his very lax and natural athletic style but abandons fundamentals and smart tactics. Haye is not much different size-wise than Monte Barrett and Two Gunz paid dearly for trying too hard to knock Valuev out.

I didn't mind the cheezy press conference with Julius Long in a mask as Valuev. Haye's right hand bomb that took the head off the Valuev cutout reminded me of Charlie Zelenoff showing no mercy to the laundry basket in his room in that Youtube video he did :rofl Haye better hope Valuev doesn't make him look like Zelenoff

 

To be fair the end bit when he punches the head off was funny, the rest was stupid.

 

Haye is going to get carried out of the ring on his back. Valuev is coming, and he is pissed off. I give Haye three rounds before his corner saves him from getting hurt permanently.
