    Seems like the logical solution.

Although like everyone else I'd prefer it if he faces Wladimir next.

I think Adamek/Haye would be a good fight. Adamek is just one of those guys you just have respect for....plus he has cheen.

The biggest problem with the top fighters not fighting eachother (for whatever reason) is that we're left with fights like Klitschko-Sosnowski. Vitali could have fought Haye, Valuev or Solis if they'd fancied it- but none of them did. Haye-Harrison is a pretty interesting one in its own right, but for the wider picture its a kick in the face for boxing fans. Choosing Audley instead of Wladimir? Its laughable really.

That's a high risk fight for Haye for very little reward. If Haye wins it's just some limited CW with no HW credentials that he beat. If Haye loses he's back to square one.

Haye has a history of handpicking low risk opponents unless there is a very high payoff or reward. Adamek without a belt brings no reward whatsoever.

If Haye were to fight in the US in a voluntary defense just to get some exposure he'd pick old journeymen bums like Rahman/Holyfield or so. Way over the hill guys that given their age pose very little danger if any.

Sad but true. Just saying, I'd prefer him face Adamek.

Why?? Haye's not the first and he won't be the last fighter to do what he's doing. Boxing is a BUSINESS, people seem to forget that. Money talks, ask the Klits. They are more than happy fighting in their comfort zones in big German arenas packed with their fans, getting great pay days. Come on people! wake up and smell the coffee! Boxing isn't all about the best fighting the best, it's how best you know the game, and use it to your advantage. If you happen to have a good promoter, and other good contacts you are laughing all the way to the bank.

To Haye's credit, he's done alright, winning titles at Crusier now having a go at heavy. people need to calm down a bit and stop throwing a fit every time team Haye's decides on their next move.

Of course promoters are not always frank and honest with you when they talk about making fights, a lot goes on behind the scenes that we do not see. As for the PR side of things, it's important to get the casual fan onside, as it means bigger paydays for future fights, it's as simple as that. Thats means fights against the likes of Audley Harrison will be a fixture from time to time, because it will do big numbers in the UK.

It's the same for Vitali fighting Sowsnowski, he will have Poland behind him! and we all know about Vitali's fanbase as well, they will both do pretty well out of it.

Sometimes we need to stop thinking like boxing fans wanting the best match ups, and think as business men, what makes sense from a money making point of view? from a career extending point of view and how to best market a fighter to a global audience and become a household name.

The way he called out Wlad and backed out in the last minute! I was not a fan of either Wlad or Haye at the time, but i really looked foreward to that fight.. Imo Haye fooled many boxingfans with that stunt!

Exactly! it was a PR stunt! let's see it for what it is! we gotta learn to read between the lines. That got Haye a **** load of publicity and why not? it got him noticed. He needed to send a few shockwaves through the division and he did that! people started talking about him, in a good or bad way but were still talking about him. So that objective was achieved. You gotta hand it to him! The boy knows what he's doing, even if we don't!

Bring me one who acts like him. There are different ways of making a business and Haye picked the cheapest one. Don't expect us for understanding, its shame and disgrace for boxing. Such behaviour can't be admired which is fooling all around and never takin a real risk. Trashtalk in general isn't anything bad and everyone gets it but The hell - you must walk the talk!

Now is the time for Haye to admit his fear and step down. Nuff said.

But that's exactly what Haye is telling us. He's giving interviews saying how he's "not in it for the money" and it's all about "the love for the sport and building a legacy". Why does Haye feed us such bull**** and then pisses in our faces? Is that part of the business side of things?

For a good example, see http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/boxing/8603248.stm

Haye and Booth are probably pissing themselves laughing after these interviews.

There is nothing to understand, It's obvious. He chose the easiest way which could've been accepted but he added a lot of **** to this. Why nobody is blaming Adamek for not challenging Klits yet?

Haye is trying to cash out, he has already said he wants to retire before what age? he is trying to milk his paper title for everything its worth with meaningless defenses because he can sell PPV's in England, casual fans dont realize he is not THE!! HW champ, and so will pay through the nose to see him fight anyone, not that i agree with that.

Completely agree TA is a big time risk for Haye. Its still the second most intriguing HW fight right now, but i dont see it happening anytime soon. To big of a risk for Haye.
