He's got the world record for it hasn't he? He's still hungry and very dangerous.

The UFC is fronted by an overweight, bloated wannabe John Gotti. The UFC pay is criminally low. MMA is a distant second to boxing everywhere in the world unless the card involves Conor McGregor. There is no PPV market for MMA anywhere outside America. Apart from that this is a great idea.

What we have here is Minuwa attempting a watered down version of Mayweather vs McGregor, another pipe dream that would only ever be remotely imaginable under Marquis of Queensbury rules.

Once again, the idiot OP doesn't know his facts, so he just makes rubbish up.

Please tell us this vacant belt Haye fought for?

Haye should go over to WWE and camp it up.
The guy is a loud mouthed total waste of space who couldn't beat Tony Bellew after all the big talk before the fight.
I hope that Haye never sets foot in a boxing ring ever again.

Id like to see it, I believe it would end with Haye brutally KOing Jimi Manuwa !

nice one; i was going to reply with "WWE"

KFC might be more likely, but WWE pays better and it seems to be a natural fit given Haye's personality :)

Not going to happen and if it did then there would be no point in paying attention as it would be fixed.

Haye is too mentally fragile to go into an unknown environment like the cage and have a legit fight where he could get seriously hurt and embarrassed. It would be fixed.

Haye has no chance in the cage. Same way Manuwa has little chance in a boxing ring. It's a marketing gimmick, nothing more.

another matchup doing the rounds is RJJ v Anderson Silva.

You're talking about a guy who ****ed up Chisora in a press conference when Chisora had his entire entourage with him. Haye never gave a **** and just fought like an animal.

You are talking about "mental fragility" yet Haye just fought against a dangerous puncher with his achilles torn to a spaghetti mess, carrying an injury that has a 10-12 month recovery period. You are talking so much **** it's embarrassing.

Someone like Haye would actually stand a very good chance of knocking out some of the bums in the UFC heavyweight division. These guys are vastly inferior athletes to top level boxers, it's like comparing F1 to NASCAR. The only boxers we see going into MMA are shot fighters who can no longer cut it at a decent level in boxing but even then they've had some success. Which according to MMA fanboys should not be possible. So while you've got James Toney getting taken down quickly and easily there is also a fat, 50 year-old Ray Mercer who managed to KO a two time UFC heavyweight champion.

There are also guys like Travis Browne and Brendan Schaub who were failed athletes from other sports, who had no combat sport experience prior to taking up MMA in the mid twenties yet within a couple of years were contenders in the UFC heavyweight division. So the idea that a top level athlete like David Haye, who is a former world champion and world class competitor in a key area of MMA, couldn't do well is clearly false. He's past his prime but not shot so could still do well in MMA if he wanted to. If a WWE wrestler who doesn't even like getting hit can become UFC Heavyweight champ then I would rule out someone like David Haye.

It is meant to be boxing.

if it was MMA id be concerned because you know most MMA fighters would look to take down a boxer straight away, Randy Couture admitted he had no plans to fight Toney on his feet as he knew there was a fair chance he'd get baited then KO'd so he did the thing that meant the least risk, takedown and submission, he was also offered to do a second fight by Toney's team in a boxing only match but said no straight away !

This has been discussed numerous times. All of the guys you mentioned come from a wrestling background. Sylvia was completely out of shape and came in at 350 pounds. You're right, with 4oz gloves a boxer has a chance if he connects, but if the fight gets put to the ground or they start eating kicks, knees and elbows it will be a rude awakening. Haye better start learning JuJitsu and wrestling fast if he is contemplating stepping anywhere near an octagon.

You have a picture showing your back muscles to try and impress a bunch of people on a boxing forum. I can't take you seriously, sorry.
