They deliberately play devil's advocate and try and wind the guests up, even if they don't know what they're talking about. It's not that he doesn't know that the ignorance in the question won't **** a boxer off; that's exactly why he's asking it: it's win-win. It's pretty superficial and annoying, but at the same time it can be pretty funny if the guest is someone you don't like.

 

*comes in, sees usual few people constantly whinging about Haye, leaves*

Get this through your head: 95% of this board dislikes Haye and have good reasons for doing so.

I use it in Korea to watch **** on BBC iPlayer all the time. I watched this interview on my lunch break today, in fact.

As for the interview itself, well Haye comes across pretty well, as he can do when he wants to. He's quite an articulate guy, especially for a boxer, and presents his points well. Part of me still wants to like him but it's difficult after putting up with so much bull**** from him since the Maccarinelli fight. Also quite disappointing when he says something like "but people still want to pay for it", when he's talking people being turned off by the Harrison fight only to go on and buy his next fight. Pretty cynical stuff.

But then again, deep down I'm one of those people too. I'm quite intrigued by a possible Vitali match up.
