David Haye on Monte Barrett before the fight was confirmed

let's wait til he beats barrett and a real top 10 hw first. then, it's a legit matchup. id much rather wlad look to unify with valuev after povetkin. now, if valuev wont fight wlad, then haye might be the best option available early in 09 at least in a financial sense. but if peter beats vitali, that's the only matchup in the divison worth making but i doubt that happens. :yep

u know what's funny about haye. he always says wlad has to fight him cause he can't get a payday without him. methinks it's the other ways around. povetkin is getting 3.3 million as a friggin mandatory. haye wants some of that. :rofl

I'm not prepared to disregard everything reported, just so Haye will looks good in my mind....and there were several reports.

Also HAYE has incriminated himself, by trying to fight Rahman even after Toney handled him in the rematch...it's is hard to reconcile that fact with "Haye really wanting to fight the best."

Haye was not looking for the hardest hitter...he was looking for the lowest bidder.
