I think you're right. He saw Adamek and smelled an opportunity. The public outcry on forums and facebook made him reconsider as well probably, I've never seen someone's market value plummet so swiftly.

 

Hi RDJ, could you give me an idea of the type of public outrcy we're talking about here? Not on facebook much/ haven't seen nearly as much outrcy as I thought there should be when Harrison's name was even mentioned as a possible opponent....I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here....need to know I'm not alone

 

Well basically even his fans are calling him a ****** now. His facebook is filled with people saying he's a ***** for not fighting Wladdy despite his big mouth, and fighting Harrison instead.
