Don't get too pumped, we've been disappointed before. We ought to take any promises Haye makes for exciting battles with a grain of salt.

These are two very smart men, both looking for 1 more big fight and both know that at this moment there is no bigger fight in the division. It will happen.

50/50 fight the way i see it with this version of Vitali too.

nobody's taking away his will and lack of fear, but he's a crude plodder who walks into punches, there is no denying it

I'm pretty sure myself the fight will happen. The recent K2 fights have seen declining ratings at RTL (Mormeck, Thompson, Charr) and RTL seems to bring up Haye whenever they can as the last opponent for Vitali. RTL's income is based on advertising so they make more money when there are 14 million (Wlad vs. Haye) than the 8 million who watched Vitali vs. Charr.

There's no reason for this fight not to happen, the only thing Haye will probably have to agree with is signing a follow-up fight with Wlad with a 50/50 split in case he beats Vitali. But that fight would be a logical follow-up for the unified championship anyways so I hope that won't be a hurdle.

Chisora is not a clubfighter, whatever you think of his skillset & abilities.

There is no other top-level HW with his style, comeforward swarmers always get tagged more than conventional boxers.

I hope this fight happens,Haye will do a number on Vit IMO, however that ain't saying too much considering the decline of Vitali in the past couple of years, still would be a great win and would like to see a Wlad rematch.

Klittards in other threads are saying Vitali hasn't declined and is just taking it easy on opponents. If Haye beats him, he'll become the quickest past-prime, old and shot-to-**** fighter in the history of the sport, bet on it.

I don't think this would be one sided either way. That and with the History they have would make it a huge event. Why certain so called boxing fans are so against this fight is absurd.

Only Brits like you want to see this fight. It would be a boring shitfest with haye throwing 13 punches a round and running the whole fight. Nobody wants to see that.

Chisora was like the new frazier in that regard.
Both come forward (though frazier did bobbing and weavin) pressure fighters.
Both high ranked fights very fast.
Against 215lbs+ opponents their KO ratio was rather low.(35% for frazier if I remember correctly)

Though Chisora is better chinned and bigger. (frazier recovered very fast, but against a big puncher like George it's rather useless)

David seems more respectful in his discourse......I want to see this fight.......I too thought Charr's corner should have been given one round to clean things up......but the conclusion would have been the same
