David Haye pay tribute to Enzo Macc

I was expecting this from Haye.

Very Classy!!!

First nice thing I have ever heard Haye say.

 

He is actually a very nice intelligent bloke. Trust me.

Not surprised he said that. It has to be remembered that a lot of what David Haye says is for the purposes of stoking up rivals and selling fights. This goes for the vast majority of fighters. Professional fighters respect anyone else who has the balls to get in the ring and fight for a living. There's little room for genuine assholes because they wouldn't last long.

 

Very Good Interview and Also a Classy Touch to way he spoke of Enzo.

Also a very good attack on Karl Ince and the Ref.

 

What if Enzo refuses to retire?
Will Haye fight him again then in order to glamorously close the book once and for all after Fraudley is done?

 

Haye was spot on. It was an upsetting knockout, the referee was disappointing, as was Enzo's corner.

 

very nice interview/comments by Haye, think he is spot-on and very honest in all of his comments.
I like how he mentioned how Enzo was in a far worse state after the first KD on Saturday than after he himself dropped him. Some fighters egos wouldn't allow them to do that, such as PBF and Hatton.

 

Pretty much spot on in every aspect. Ref and corner let Enzo down.

 

No question Haye speaks for nearly everyone when he said it was obvious what was going to happen when the ref left the fight go on.

The ref failed to protect Enzo and the corner failed to intervene.

Brave referees and brave cornermen are what gets a fighter hurt badly.

Its a brutal and sad way for Enzo to go out on.

But no-body said boxing was a fairytale - its a brutal and cruel sport.

 

Really nice interview from Haye, very classy, though he hasn't been as good to Enzo in the past.

"Everybody at ringside was shouting for the fight to be stopped".

It's really seeming like Ince nearly got Enzo killed on Saturday.

 

We had both Enzo and David on legs of the Bunce tour last year and they are both classy guys.

Enzo in particular came across as an absolute gent -- he was happy to mingle with the punters, signed everything without complaint (including gloves and no money changed hands) and always had a big smile on his face, staying around until the end of the night when he could have disappeared after he had been on stage. There are no airs and graces with this guy.

I hope he's made enough money to give himself a platform to do whatever he wants in life and I hope the boxing industry and TV keeps him around.
