Hey as much as I believe in Have I'm more disappointed about the career choices he has made and way he has acted. When he announced his comeback months ago, Povetkin was the guy I said I'd love to see him face. Iron chin vs massive punch. If he returned to his pre operation self it would be an awesome fight, more entertaining than any Wlad fight. I do think style wise Povetkin is well suited for Haye, and Haye would get the KO.

Have never seen Hayes loss to CT, and didn't realize (or remember) CT was 40
FFS in the 5th a 23 y/o Haye was totally gassed. He gets hurt and his corner throws in the towel. No wonder he fought Wlad on his knees half the bout :yep

Haye just doesn't have much stamina nor a chin. His best win at HW was vs Chisora, and if Del Boy got past the middle rounds it wouldn't have surprised me if he would have won.

Haye could have fought Povetkin in the past ... he fought Audley instead.

This is true. Remember also when the WBA were looking to have Povetkin or Chagaev fight as mando for Haye's belt that Haye shat himself and decided to cashout against Klitschko 'fighting' in survival mode the entire fight.

Haye was afraid of Povetkin and decided therefore to rather fight Wladimir Klitschko? :huh:huh

Props to Haye for admitting he is not ready for a strong opponent. Haye should start with someone like Mansoor probably. It would be a good start for him.

Haye is a snakeoil salesman. And judging by the number of replies there are still enough ******s looking to buy his snakeoil.

Who brought more money to the table, Klitschko or Povetkin? Why take the risk fighting Povetkin for say < 5 mil when he could have a survival mode bout with Klitschko for 25 mil? If you're going to take a loss, might as well make some good money in the process rather than try for a questionable shot at a win for far less money
