Not really. July 2nd date is the first one available for unification. Vitali is set to fight in March. His schedule easily permits July 2nd fight. Situation with Haye is less clear. He will have to go through his mandatory or square it with WBA somehow. Even if he fights Chagaev, 2 fights in 6 months is not something extraordinary. There is plently of time to make Chagaev fight in March/April timeframe.

I'm sure vitali and Haye could both ask to fight each other next in favour of a unification fight. We know Haye could do that and wanted to. The Chagaev fight won't happen if Vitali asks to postpone the Solis fight because they can go to the WBA and WBC and ask if they can unify. That wouldn't be an issue.

As I said though, it's in Vitali's hands. Haye can't force Vitali to pay step-aside money to Solis and ask the WBC if he can have a unification bout with Haye. There's nothing he can do. It's all up to Vitali.

Personally, as a boxing fan, I think boxing needs more fights not less. I would much rather see Haye-Chagaev, Vitali-Solis in spring and then Vitali-Haye in July rather than wait for Vitali-Haye in July.

I agree we need more fights, yes. I just want priority on making the right fights. The sad truth is, because of the Chisora fight, we may never get to see Haye/Wlad. If he goes ahead with it, we'll only see Haye vs. one Klitschko at the absolute most and that's not right.

Haye has two fights left and both should and could be against Klitschko's. I think we can agree about that? If Wlad wants to stay active before that, have an exhibition or something. If Vitali wants the same, have an exhibition too or fight Solis quickly and let's get a Haye fight on.

He's there and he's ready to fight. He's dropped whatever bull**** people may think he had. Now it's time for the Klitschko's to do the same.

But would you rather see two medium fights Haye-Chag and Vitali-Solis or one big one Vitali-Haye?

That's the better question. Tuneups rarely work out and these guys have been ducking each other for years.

Strike while the iron is hot.

This is spot on. It's the exact same situation with Wlad/Haye. At one point, Wlad would have realised that if he went through with the Chisora fight, the Haye one wouldn't happen. That's a shame.

When there is an opportunity for a fight on the table, ****ing take it! Especially when the other options are a dreadful fight against Chisora and a decent one against Solis. Is it worth the megafights of Haye/Wlad and Haye/Vitali falling apart over?

If you're a Klitschko fan, I expect the answer is "yes". If you're a boxing fan, the answer is a clear and resounding "no".

Haye has run, backed out of contracts with k2 for over 2 years now.

It's amazing his delusional nuthugging fans still lick his ass. Well the fact that Haye has fought greats like Audley, old Ruiz, Barret and Chewbacca is no doubt why they believe he is saving the sport.

Who backed out of this contract? Wlad demanded a list of things and Haye accepted everything. When he did that, Wlad then mentioned Chisora.

Haye didn't back out of a ****ing thing this time.

Given that they cannot make the big one up until 6 month from now I want to see two medium fights Haye-Chag and Vitali-Solis AND one big one Vitali-Haye

But if Vitali asks for a unification bout, he can fight Haye soon, instead of Haye/Chagaev and Vitali/Solis, and then later in the year, we could have Haye/Wlad.

Haye only has two fights left. Both should be against Klitschko's and they both can be. All we need is for Vitali to ask for it.

The red corner might be a sticking point? Wow... you guys are completely brainwashed.

Also, Haye should be THANKING the Heavyweight Champion of the world for giving him a shot at his IBF, WBO, IBO, and Ring Magazine Title and giving him 50% of the pot to do so. Wlad has ALWAYS brought in big money. Just because Haye talks his nonsense doesn't mean it's true. Haye might have a bigger TV deal.... and? The only reason he will be getting paid so much on that TV deal when he fights against Wlad... is because he is fighting against Wlad. Do you think Haye makes more fighting against Wlad or Ruiz? You are also forgetting the 60,000 tickets that Wlad would be selling at the German gate.

Just because Haye fell into a big TV deal with his mouth, and a paper title by way of the WBA title being given back to Valuev after Wlad knocked out the true Champ, doesn't mean he even deserves 50/50 to fight Wlad. Yet Wlad, wanting the fight like he does... made that offer to Haye. Just as Vitali did... just as Wlad gave Ibragimov 50/50 in respect of his WBO title.

It's a Unification fight.... Wlad is the established Champion and brings tons of money to the table. David Haye brings a lot of money too... and it will be especially big because they are fighting each other. Which is why 50-50 makes sense.

The only reason Haye has ANYTHING like he does now, is because he skated on the back of Wladimir Klitschko... running his mouth... making a name for himself by fooling his blind countrymen into believing he was the Heavyweight Savior. Since then... he has given us a fight against Barrett who was knocked out in 2 rounds against Cliff Couser... a horrible fight against Valuev that I actually felt he lost. A sloppy but effective win against an old John Ruiz.... and a showdown with ****in Audley Harrison... after Haye and his team came out making fun of that possible fight, saying that it would never happen because Audley isn't a legit opponent and they know the fans don't want it. Guess what... they gave it to the fans anyways, and his fans ate it up like shelterless Africans eating a rice paddy.

Haye deserves MORE than 50% to fight Wladimir Klitschko? Thinking like that is what has David Haye in the position that he is in now. Let's see how long his value stays high after fans start catching on to his bull****. However, judging by his fans actions... that won't be anytime soon. You know... he is retiring this year.:rofl

Let Haye go fight Ruiz, Harrison and company... clearly that's the only sort of fight he is actually willing to sign. Haye could fight Calderon next and his fans would support him. All he has to do is sit down for a video interview real quick... say something that sounds slightly witty... and all of you guys just fall right back in love with him.

Sorry, but Haye won't be fighting both Klitschkos. Whoever he fights first is going to end all of this drama that night.

It is not up to Vitali or Haye. It is up to RTL and Sky. The first date that they mutually agreed on is July 2nd.

    That's what I'm saying...:party

.............and it's beyond ridiculous for anyone to think Haye deserves more than the very generous 50% he was offered, multiple times by both brothers. Stop being silly now.......................

Well....looks like Wlad has produced a grade-A duck this time.

What a total embarrasment for his fans.
