There is an English website and a German website who will be selling tickets. Seems pretty obvious to me. People who don't quite grasp what the problem is here will find out when they try to navigate the German website and are charged ridiculous prices for postage.

Say you're going to watch a fight outside the USA, would you rather buy from a US site with the protection and laws of the USA or from a German company that you don't even know what your rights are (or maybe even understand the language)?

Plus you have to pay more for delivery, not sitting with your other UK fans etc. If you're travelling miles for a fight the atmosphere and experience of travelling with like minded people is part of overall "experience"!

I can't see how you can't think this is a problem. Although I agree we can argue over the extent of the issue, to say it is not an issue at all hurts your credibility in the argument as it makes you look bias. If the ticket allocation isn't equitable (not equal i.e. 50-50, but fair) then it's an issue.

UK fans would rather buy from UK suppliers and more UK fans will go if they can buy from a UK supplier and get all the guarantees associated. This would 100% apply and be exactly the same with people in the USA - they would buy more tickets from a US supplier.

I thought the official site was event.dm???!!!

Haye stated it on his site, as did Wlad on his.

    that's why I'm confused.

    event.dm is a German company.

They have an English site that will be selling to the UK fans. You clearly didn't read Hayes message did you?

    The UK supplier is Eventim.

I take back some of the things in my post if you were actually confused. It looked like you were saying "just buy from the German supplier instead" and dismissing it as a non-issue.

    .co.uk not .de.

Part of the same company, but different operating regions. Eventim UK is a UK company with offices in the UK and operates under UK law.

It makes no difference to if they were competely different companies. The .co.uk and .de sites are different and it sounds like each site will have a completely seperate ticket allocation i.e. they're not selling the same tickets. If the UK site has an un-equitable ticket allocation then it would be an issue.

you just have to select "english" as the language at the german one.

    easy.

It looks like everyone (both fans) will be mixed, ie no stand etc for Haye fans.
