We can't know for certain what happened but this would not completely surprise me. Haye does not have a granite chin, he partially slipped those shots lad landed and while Wilder is massively over rated he can dig a bit.

His resume is a bunch of unranked bums and his biggest win is against the aforementioned joke of a boxer that is Fraudley Harrison.

Why do you think he fights the way he does? It is to conserve his **** stamina and protect that Glass Jaw. The Valuev, Harrison, and Wlad fights were a disgrace.

 

Haye's chin is glass. No question about that.
