I agree with a lot of what you say here. I do, though, think he learned to be magnanimous in the later years of his career. I bet he regrets the toe incident at the press conference after the Wlad fight though. But we all live and learn...
Naaaaa, Lewis paved the way for Haye, Harrison, Williams, Skelton, Sprott, it was Haye who carried the UK flame through the Klithscko era to this new generation of British heavyweight superstars who dominate the world scene.
........ and they called him Mr Glass. Lol he never recovered from sparring Deontay in the gym, he literally fell to pieces.
At least he had the sense to leave out the toe injury he sustained during the Klitschko fight in his retirement speech.
Good post mate, he was even worse injury wise than the first fight wasn't he, like his right ankle was fused and that torn bicep was a problem still..People never mention how he helped Nick Blackwell financially big either...Good bloke David Haye and at his best great !
I have never said positive things about anyone? That's incorrect. Fighters I have commented on positively: Lennox Lewis Alexander Povetkin Wlad Klitschko Vitali Klitschko Mike Tyson David Price Monte Barrett David Tua Nicolai Valuev Fighters I have criticized throughout their career: David Haye Tyson Fury Deontay Wilder Kubrat Pulev David Haye deserves criticism because he enjoyed criticizing other fighters but - when the same standards were applied to himself he didn't like that and found excuses. That's immature and he needed to be called out for that.
There's a correlation between criticizing David Haye and not achieving much in life? That's a ludicrous assessment.
Definitely, was like his right ankle was in a cast in the second fight, he still denies it though. His spinal surgery in 2015 where his lower back was inserted with rods and fused together simply took away all his movement and agility as well, in fact, all his major injuries ate away at his greatest assets, his back took his movement and agility, biceps took his power, ankles took his speed and footwork. It's amazing how he even come back at all after the Chisora fight let alone made it to 2018. A lot of people are short-sighted in their opinion of David Haye and are unaware of his contributions to the boxing community. Like you said, he raised and donated over $150,000 for Nick Blackwell out of his own pocket while Blackwell was in a coma, just after Haye had steel rods fused into his spine so he could continue fighting to get himself out of his own financial problems. A true champion and a great talent who did many a great things for the British boxing community.
Isn't this the second time she's retired since her fight with Bellew? She just wants attention. Stop giving her the oxygen of publicity.
