Was it him who broke his toe? Klitschko is the hardest puncher he fought, he just doesn't know since he ran backwards for 12 rounds.
Monte Barrett was the only professional boxer to drop the iron-jawed David Tua... admittedly, Tua was 131.5 years old at the time, however it's still a notable achievement! Barrett copped a broken jaw for his efforts too. Monte Barrett then went on to fight NZ's 2nd best boxer at the time, Shane Cameron. Getting folded like a lawn chair, one of our greatest 1 punch KO's. This content is protected
I was a massive Barrett fan throughout his career and certainly thought he had more pop than he was given credit for, but the hardest puncher that Haye faced? Eh….I’m skeptical. But who am I to question?
No, Wlad was the hardest puncher he fought. I don't care what Haye says. He's lying or doesn't know how to rate the punchers he's been in the ring with properly.
Hahah its always the same. Knew it before opening the thread. Recently saw that big George where hevsaid Frazier was his toughest opponent...
I can understand Foreman saying Frazier, nobody else got up that many times! But yeah it's always the same, "this guy I obliterated with ease caught me with a shot, I've never been hit like that before" bol****s
Wlad was the biggest puncher but Bellew hit him hardest, hence Haye got KO'd a couple of times and dropped hard. Barrett in fairness did arguably drop Haye with a bunch, which Wlad did not. Haye was resentful that Wlad beat him 10-2 so he doesn't want to give him any credit. Probably resentful he didn't get a rematch too and was messed around by Vitali, who retired rather than fight him after Haye stopped Chisora.
Lol! Put it a bit more politely than I did but basically my thoughts too. Wladimir is definitely the hardest puncher he was in the ring with. But it’s hard to crack a guy that flops to the ground 50% off the fight and runs around the other 50%. Plus Haye won’t admit it because he’s a POS and he hates the Klitschkos. Monte Barrett
