David Haye says he's healthy and back in training now

    Vitali never said "I'm done", he just needed 7 months to fully recuperate. I doubt whether Vitali avoided Byrd, although Chris was a bad style match-up for him. Byrd says to this day that Lennox Lewis avoided him.

    But after just ONE month, not 7 months after announcing his shoulder injury, Haye is already back in the gym.

    If Haye would have left it until a month after the scheduled fight with Fury (it was signed for February 2014) it would be more believable.

    I still don't understand why he avoided Tyson Fury, who seems tailor-made for a Haye KO. It doesn't make sense. I could understand Haye avoiding a good HW like Pulev, but why avoid Fury?

    Maybe, but how do you know what level Haye is at now? He's not been in the ring for a year and a half, is in his mid-30'ies and has suffered several serious injuries. Hell, it will probably be something like 2 years out by the time he returns and he'll be pushing 34 by that time. It's very likely he won't be the same fighter.

    Because Fury is better than how he's talked to be by haters, and because he scares the hell outta Haye.
    Not that it is that difficult, Haye looked really uncomfortable even in the staredown with Manuel Charr.....
    He chickened out of that fight, too :bart

    He said he's back at the gym in training, he said he's healthy, and he said he's "ready to go on". He never tweeted anything about a "fight", but what he said obviously implies he's likely going to fight again.

    And many sources are reporting he's getting ready to fight again.

    No, you're lying again. I never posted that "he said he wasn't".

    It's hilarious how many people still pay attention to Haye. How many times has he fought in the last 5 years? Wasn't he supposed to start an acting career long ago? :lol:
