David Haye set for talks with the Klitschko's.

David Haye has revealed negotiations with the Klitschko brothers will begin later this week as he seeks to unify the world heavyweight titles.
Wladimir Klitschko, the IBF and WBO champion, had issued a video message taunting Britain's WBA title holder and calling for a long-awaited showdown between the pair.
His older brother and WBC champion Vitali is also on Haye's radar as he looks to unify the belts and the Londoner confirmed today that trainer and manager Adam Booth is set for talks with the Germany-based Ukrainians.
He said: "Adam said something yesterday (in response to Wladimir) and after a meeting on Thursday I will know more.
"But until then, I'll leave Adam to it. I'm here relaxing and enjoying myself now."
Haye had been scheduled to fight Wladimir last summer before being scuppered by a back injury.
Talks were then held about an autumn challenge against Vitali until Haye's camp walked away and fought Nikolay Valuev for the WBA belt instead.
Haye, who successfully defended his title for the first time by stopping John Ruiz earlier this month, now hopes blockbuster clashes with the Klitschkos would be too big not to eventually come to fruition.
"You would assume so," he said. "But I'm enjoying my victory at the moment and that is it.
"Adam is meeting their people, I think on Thursday, so there's nothing else to say."
The likes of Wembley and Stamford Bridge have been talked about as possible venues for such high-profile fights but a relaxed Haye is not concerned at this early stage.
"It's going to be where it's going to be," he said.
Wladimir's video message addressing Haye yesterday accused the Englishman of avoiding him and his older brother.
"David, you've bitched out on fighting both Klitschko brothers twice already and now is the time to make it happen," he said.
"On behalf of the boxing fans around the world, I am officially calling you out to fight me.
"You can't run away from me forever and you need to follow through with this fight to get respect. I'm ready. What are you waiting for?"

Everyone wants the fight so I'm not worried about it being made at all. Although I understand why Wlad would want more than 50-50, I think it's pretty fair to have an even split considering that: a Haye fight in a stadium would pretty much sell-out; HBO are only interested in a Wlad fight against Haye; Haye will bring SBO money to the table. Wlad makes way more money in an even split in this fight than 100% of most other fights out there at HW.

    Make the fight:deal. War Haye!:happy

Don't forget that there will be a sizeable British contingent in the crowd wherever it is.

if it doesn't happen, and it transpires it is anything to do with haye, i.e. money, location etc, he will ruin his reputation and his legacy, which seems so important to him, and he knows it so unless haye has serious reservations about fighting either that we dont yet now about, then this fight is a cert to happen

Yep, that was sort of my point:good. I reckon this fight could even sell-out Wembley and, given Haye's newfound mainstream fame, it could conceivably be the biggest promotion we've seen on these shores since PBF-Hatton. Makes too much sense not to happen now. The hype would be huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge!:happy:good:happy

I really hope this gets made. I think a 60/40 split in favour of Wlad is fair. Wlad has been domintating the sport for so long now he deserves the bigger slice of the pie. He would deserve a bigger slice if it wasn't for Haye being such a big draw. Even if they did a 55/35 split with the winner getting the remaining 10, would also be fair.

If Haye refuses a deal like that, it will confirm my skepticism that he would prefer to fight ABK's and make lesser money winning against irrelevant boxers for another year or two.

Me too. It's just about the only potential fight in the division which stirs any bit of excitement whatsoever. Fingers crossed it will happen. It would be the biggest heavyweight fight since Tyson/Lewis.

Until i see Klitschko Haye up in lights im of the opinion now that David wants nothing to do with them ,

The fact that Booth is said to be in talks is clearly positive though , im a cynical ******* towards Haye these days i think i expected too much from him @HW !!!!!

I can not wait for this already. I hope Haye gets in there and destroys him. Would love him to become a legend. I do not think it matters where this fight takes place for the fighters, both are good in an hostile enviroment and also win in front on home crowds. Would love it in Britain though...Metrodome would be perfect.
