IF HAYE IS FIT HE WINS!!!!!!!!! IF HE LOSES HE WASNT FIT!!!!!!!! thats serious nuthuggery and it doesnt suit ya.
Amen. but ill add that haye has always looked sloppy when throwing his combo's, luckily for him his speed and power got the job done.
If he wins he passes his 2.0 test (British 2.0 fighters run boxing) And if he loses he flunks it and he proves that he just couldn't cut the 2.0 grade
sorry serge but beating bellew isnt worthy of a 2.0 grade. The British fighters who upgraded to the 2.0 grade are world beaters and most likely future atgs
I agree but you have to factor in we're talking about the deformed injury ravaged shell of Haye with the bones and gait of a 100 year old lifelong labourer. If that Haye beats Bellew that's enough to cut the 2.0 grade albeit not enough to score above a D.
But 2.0 grades are usually only awarded with the promise of better things, if D Haye can turn out a performance that suggests he has improved hugely with a 5round mocking of bellew where he displays ATG level skills, patience and Power, where you think wow! he could easily topple AJ, Povetkin, Wilder within a 3 month period. Then ill have to mark him down, sorry.
We haven't come close to seeing the best of Haye yet, Lep. If his body holds up, and I concede it's a big if, expect very great things from him during these twilight years of his career, and I say that as someone who thinks his CW resume is overrated.
Injuries can never be an excuse for the 2.0 grade, infact even using an injury as an excuse is enough to keep you from passing the 2.0grade. Brook doesnt use excuses and he has found himself on the 2.0 with a glass eye socket. Haye must not say he is unfit or unwell or injured ever again if he wants to make the leap!
Watching the YouTube live presser stream on holiday in a Moroccan hair salon while my missus gets her hair done. Nothing like fight week.
Haye's body has been subject to more physical abuse and injury than every matador in Spain combined. Any British fighter than can rise from the ashes like a phoenix from that and not only reclaim past glory but surpass it meets the 2.0 grade. If Haye wins in impressive fashion on Saturday I fully expect him to go onto unify the HW division, albeit only if he avoids Tyson Fury 2.0. Rule #1: Avoid British 2.0 fighters at all costs. Rule #2: Make damn well sure you don't ever forget Rule #1.
He seems more concentrated. The reality of his fitness is that with Haye, you just never know. I mean, he could go into the ring in good health, and through no fault of the other fighter, leave a broken man. He’s the Daniel Sturridge of boxing.
For sure for sure. Its a big ask for D Haye, his past mental deficiencies will have to be completely eradicted to succeed this time.
Word on the street is one of Britain's top 2.0 sports injury specialists has worked wonders on his injury ravaged body.
