Like I said, "reportedly" there was also a trust issue. It was reported, as gossip, off-the-record stuff, like much other stuff in boxing. It may well have been true.
Obviously Holyfield wouldn't feel the need to air that stuff on the record, IF it's even true.

Possibly you're right, but at the time Holyfield was going through an insane penny pinching period. He even got rid of his cutsman before the Moorer match, let Don Turner do double shift.

Holy has been known to be tight fisted in the past. There was even a story about him haggling with a street vendor in Spain, at the Olympics, to get the lowest possible price for an already cheap watch.

Yeah, I remember that. He should've kept the cut man.

These trainers and cornermen are greedy and overpaid too though, arguably.

how much does Wlad pay you to laugh at your own anti Haye propaganda?

Or does he ''thank'' you with his magic hand?..

It's not that Manny hasn't said nice things about Wlad. He's two-faced. He'll do that and then turn around and tell somebody he thinks doesn't like Wlad something different.

Doesn't mean Manny ain't a great trainer. He is. But as a person, Manny is a bit, errr, "ambiguous."

Wlad will win anyway, but Haye is using all the psych-out tactics he can.

Vitali has been a champion kick-boxer and a champion heavyweight boxer. I think he knows a little bit about combat sports.

Booth is trying to ape Sir Alex Ferguson and use every psych-out tactic he can.

I dislike Booth and Haye, but this was well played, I must admit.

And it's all helping create an amazing atmosphere for this fight. But I don't think Wlad is going to let it affect him.
