Haye is the second best heavyweight. He's beat Povetkin, Wilder, or whomever is is NOT named Klitschko
Dont really care, Haye was a flash in the pan who was overrated at cruiser Only interesting thing is that maybe hed fight Washington, Wilder, or Breazale Would like to see him fight Povetkin or Takam but knowing Haymon he will fight Aguilera
Povetkin is the best boxer in the HW divison, we all saw how Wladimir cheated him out of his titles. Povetkin would knock Haye out. Haye run at HW minus Wlad is fighting glass jaw brits or old shot fighters Pulev knocks him out also
I was a huge Haye supporter, but then he went out there and "fought" like a complete puss against Wlad, only to later blame it on his toe. What bothered me most is that he displayed excellent head movement, making Wlad miss a good bit, but then did jack all as far as throwing punches. Biggest moment of his life after ALL the talk he had about Wlad and Vitali and then he bottles it. I'd say his best moment was the press conference shenanigans with Chisora. That was pure gold.
And your basing this speed differential on what? his pathetic victories of over the hill slow Barret (who had haye down) Harrison and Ruiz. Povetkin kills Haye
Because he'll make sure they don't have to fight anyone who can actually beat them, and get them the most money for it.
:rofl Please, he needed a gift against Niko.....Chagaev gave a far better performance against Valuev and beat him far more convincingly. You call his fixed fight against Harrison, getting dropped by a shot Barrett, and taking 9 rounds to beat old John Ruiz exciting and top notch? Good for you, keep lapping up the David Haye kool-aid.
i honestly lost most of my respect for haye after talking his way into a fight and then doing what he did vs wlad but hey at least he's good for boxing right?
Naw, Haye just got outboxed by the bigger, better boxer. Haye threw powerful punches that Wlad expertly dodged and nailed Haye with counter shots that hurt him when Haye attacked. Wlad's awesome jackhammer jab was the key to shutting Haye down and Wlad's ability to step just out of range when Haye went on the offence. Deal with it. Wlad is a great boxer who also happens to possess two-fisted power.
Haye got his ranking justly when he did through acquiring a belt and a couple good wins but in a very weak division and still living off those CW credentials to those who truly viewed him as a beyond legit HW contender or guy who in any way stacks up to any great contenders of previous eras.
