Rahman maybe next, but what about Sultan Ibragimov? Last I heard, GBP was his co-promoter....

That would be a good test against a "small" heavyweight and they could keep it in-house....

**** Rahman I thought he was going to be great, but he is only living of the Lewis fight. You are right about sultan he was co-promoted by them

This move has been in the works for months. GBP has been looking for a heavyweight star (Sultan is co-promoted with Warriors and is hardly a star).

In addition, Mick Hennessey has a good relationship with GBP and has had other fighters co-promoted with Oscar in the past (one example is Junior Witter).

That said, this is a big move for both parties. If Haye can just win a belt, you'll see GBP and AEG put on a media full court press to make him the next global superstar.

Nice. I heard a rumor that he is going to "take time to adjust to being a heavyweight", which unfortunately meant that he wasn't going to fight until the end of '08. Anyone know if this is true or not?
