Right decision, he weighed too much in his last three fights, he is not as effective as he was with too much muscle mass, it doesn't suit his style, the best case scenario would be if he goes back to Adam Booth.

What he really needs is a good psychiatrist so he can deal with the intense humiliation Baloo delivered to him.

Agreed, hayes best attributes at heavyweight were the fact he was small and fast. Trying to become a fully fledged heavyweight in size was the wrong tactic.

Maybe somebody weak minded like you would need a psychiatrist after loosing a fight with one leg but a strong minded individual like haye will only use it as fuel and motivation.

I would still give it another go, He lost his last fight due to having one leg, he is clearly still very motivated to fight, He needs to come in lighter like he did when he first moved up, He might then regain his speed and it will be less stress of his leg. If he still looks shot in his next fight then i would agree its times to call it a day.

I'd be surprised if he goes back to Booth. Maybe a move Stateside? After all, he trained in Miami for his last fight, so maybe his focus was over there a little already?

David Haye needs to fight at 210 pounds like he did against Wlad and Chisora, that's his best weight, he needs to
lose 10 pounds of muscle mass and he needs to concentrate on his speed and footwork again and not only his
    power.

Good call. I can see that happening. I would be really surprised if he ends up back with Booth.

I reckon he is going with a USA based trainer he seems to be spending a lot of time there and its probably easier to stay there long term and get a local based trainer for the final run at it !

David Haye is now 36 years old.

Once a HW gets over 35 years old they are fast deteriorating. I just cannot see him coming back and doing anything special at that age. Also he is reflex based counter puncher- and reflexes are the first thing to go as get into your mid 30s.

And lets not forget Bellew took his virginity away.

Yeah, let's just blame the trainer for the sh!t performance and gammy ankle, makes sense.

Haye's finished anyway. He could get with anyone in the world and it still wouldn't fix his broken down body and shot reflexes.

That doesn't sound very encouraging to me, unless he goes back to booth. I agree he should be lighter in order to focus on his speed and movement but he will be giving away a ton of weight to the bigger men at heavyweight. I hope he manages to regain some form but 36 is not a great time to start again with a new trainer, unless it's booth.
