"Vitali's greatest performance to date is a loss to Lennox Lewis. That's his most memorable fight and the one result on his record that will be remembered in the history books.

"The Klitschkos don't care about being great fighters, whereas I do," he added. "They may be big in Switzerland, but so are yodellers, and nobody wants to watch them fight."

"I'll be watching the fight, but only because I have an interest in meeting Vitali next year," said Haye. "As far as the fight itself goes, it's one of the most unappealing heavyweight title fights for a while – and that's saying something.

"The fact that a title fight between a Ukrainian and an American is being held in Switzerland tells you all you need to know about the appeal of this fight. Heavyweight title fights should be huge events, not an after-thought in a country most famous for producing Toblerones."

Damn! What's Haye's problem with the Swiss?
He's right though, Vitali vs Johnson is not exactly generating headlines.
But , it's good that Vitali is keeping busy. Something we'd like to see Haye do as well.

On Vitali's fight being in Switzerland:
“Heavyweight title fights should be huge events, not an afterthought in a country most famous for producing Toblerones.”

    On Vitali's opponent:
"...There are probably one million dudes in America called Kevin Johnson, and beating one of them doesn’t make you an all-time great heavyweight."

    On Vitali's greatness:
“The Klitschkos don’t care about being great fighters, whereas I do. They may be big in Switzerland, but so are yodellers, and nobody wants to watch them fight.”

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

BRIGHTRIGHTHAND i have long lurked the ESB boards taking interest in other peoples opinions on the sweet science. . . .I owe you a big thankyou as you have finally given me the impetus to make my first post. . . .

You are clearly an idiot of the highest order. Haye didn't run, he did what he had to to pull out the win. If you saw that fight as a draw you are as blind as you are stupid. Where have you got this opinion that Haye gassed? he was busier in the 12th than he was in the rest of the fight. Have you even watched the fight?

Apparently Davey doesn't remember or didn't watch the tape of his fight with Valuev. THAT was one of the most unappealing title fights in recent years. Running around scared for 12 rounds, throwing 11.9 punches per round doesn't entitle Haye to say anything about excitement.

Davey goes on to say "Heavyweight title fights should be huge events". Tell us David Haye, you call an 8000 person arena which you fought a heavyweight title fight a huge event???? You couldn't even sell out a cruiserweight unification fight in your home town.

Shut up David Haye, just focus on getting by John Ruiz next without any more excuses.

Klitschko/Johnson might not be a blockbuster fight, but it's Vitali's 3rd fight this year. How many fights does Davey have? 1, and he was far from impressive in it.

The only true thing in this **** is "Doivit Hoi TALKS Vitali". TALKS. As in "doesn't even think of fighting him, ever, other than with his mouth".

Haye lost to Valuev but was given a gift.

Haye will obviously lose to the Klitschko's but would also be handled by the following:

    Povetkin
    Chambers
    Chagaev
    Arreola
    Valuev (again)
    Gomez
    Ibragimov
    Adamek

so what would this Jackoff say about Ali fighting Fraizer in Manila, or fighting Blue Lewis in Dublin? or Foreman vs. Norton in Venezuela. haye is a fraud with a biog mouth. he chicken ed out of boxingf both brothers lASt year cuz he knew he would get knocked out.

they stole the belt from valuev cuz valuev dont draw no more. just a fraud psoing with a garbage wba belt that really belongs to Wlad for beating Chagaev.
