I think a Klitschko Haye showdown is bound to happen eventually Wlad is only 33 no real threats unless he takes a safe route and quits while he is ahead I could see him fighting another 3-4 years Haye would never wait 3-4 years to mae the fight. Unless one of them loses this is happening eventually.

hope you're right, man...Haye has no chance to beat either brother. i think haye realizes this. i would be surprised if we ever get to see this one. But, I hope I'm wrong.

how many of those tickets were bought before chag was announced as the opponent?

why don't the klits sell out football stadiums every fight?

Notice no one returned their tickets when Chagaev was named as opponent?

if Valuev had fought Vitali or Wlad, it would have sold out any stadium in Europe.

so you think it was the occasion, more than the opponent and hayes fight hyping tactics?

i don't know myself, just wondering why the klits don't fight in big stadiums more often if they have such drawing power

:good Ruiz has the potential to "De-rail" the Haye hype train and that is sufficient reason for David to relinquish his title. But how would such an action effect his "Standing" (Not that he cares a jot) if he just gives up the belt and waits for Vitali to offer him another chance (Which I am sure he'd jump at)? I wonder if his "Back injury" will return to prevent his show-down with Ruiz, then heal come Klitschko time? Of course the Haye-Vitali fight could be announced before his date with Ruiz and I did wonder if Klitschko would delay an announcement just to show David up!:). But Vitali is i'm sure far too astute a business man to do so! He will want David's reputation/mystique intact and his mouth running at 1000 buckets of shite an hour to ensure excellent ppv sales!!

Few neutral observers take Haye seriously at this point. He has no humility to talk like this, so he's where he belongs.

If the fight is right, the Klitschkos could fill any stadium in Europe. just like any popular fighter, if the matchup is right it could turn into a big event.

Look at the numbers regarding haye vs Barrett...not even 10K turned out for that event and it was in England.

The matchup has to be appropriate for the venue.

    Britard,

    I have a better question:

How many ticket buyers asked for a refund when they found out Wladimir was fighting Chagaev for unification instead of Haye-less?

“I’m very proud that ESPN, the No. 1 sports channel worldwide, will cover my upcoming fight,” Klitschko said. “Now all the fans in the United States can watch this fight between two champions.”

Most likely the notion of fighting either of the Klitschko's again will flare up his yeast infection.

HBO didn't want the fight without Haye...this is true.

They felt Chagaev was too easy of an opponent...then they pick up a mismatch like Tarver vs Dawson the very next week...doesn't make sense does it?
