Won the paper version of a belt held by someone illegitimate, and now demands 50-50 against proven and solidified champions.

Was I the only one who saw this one coming a mile off? The man talked like he was the very next Muhammad Ali, but only gave us a **** poor version of a Willie Pep demonstration against an oaf of a man who can't cut the ring if his life depended on it. Only after twelve rounds of what we all can call a decent tactical approach from Haye he goes on to say his hand was broke and that was the reason he did not unleash his fury and felled the tree.

Well guess what, now John Ruiz and a rematch against Valuev are the fights looming. We shall see what new tactical approach David would have against Valuev the second time around, perhaps a tore vagina will keep him from actually fighting?

Oh and, unless he gets a football stadium in Germany and a 50% purse split against Vitali, which guarantees him the biggest pay day of his career, don't you expect David to ever get close to the man. That way he can perhaps cash out and Vitali could end his career.

So much for bringing life back to the heavyweight division, you duck and duck the Klitschko's, and that's the end of it. They do not however, need to come knocking on your door again after you pulled out not once, but twice against a fellow Klitschko.

He can now negotiate more fairly, without having to sign for 5 rematches against multiple opponents, just to get a Klitschko in the ring.

First you claim that one belt is paper, then you claim there are solidified "Champions";... plural?
    That's just inconsistent.
If there's more than one, at least one* of those is "paper" too.

    *Answer...all of them are.

And becoming Don Kings house ***** is something worth praise?

How is he worthy of a fifty percent purse split against one of the Klitschkos, when they are the one arranging and filling the stadiums over in Germany/Switzerland?

Well, considering Wladimir is the ring magazine champion, I would say he's the #1 heavyweight on the planet right now.
And as for the WBA, well Nicolay was more or less given the belt once Chagaev got those medical problems.

no-one's about to doubt that the klitschko's rule the HW division.
haye's belt clearly is a paper one but it's also valuable leverage.
at the end of the day it doesn't matter about which belts legitimise who.

Everyone was more or less give their belts when Lennox retired! If I had to pick though, I'd guess I'd pick Wlad, even though I think his brother is better. Which bothers me, because they both have pretty good claims, which sort of makes the whole situation a mess.

I wonder if any contract ever stipulated multiple rematches agasinst more than one opponent? Any examples?

I can't believe people think the Klitschkos are so much more important than boxing as a sport that they should be allowed to demand such bizarre contracts.

you've got to laugh. the klitschko's stank out the world of boxing with their ridiculous demands in the 1st place, just because they were scared to death of being sparked out by a cruiserweight :deal

I think that's the problem right there. "The Klitschko's" are seen as a some sort of dual headed single entity and it's really screwing things up! Boxing is not a team sport. We need to view them as individuals. I'm not saying they should fight each other, because they are bros, but they should not get a pass for not being rivals either. I know I'm not explaining it well... hopefully someone gets what I'm trying to say.

Wlad might be the ring champ but I'd say vitali is tougher to beat.

As for David Haye he's talked the talked for sure. Then he has walked the walk....

He beat and ex world champ in his 10th fight.

Went for a minor world belt in his 11th.

Beat a future CW champ to become mandatory and then risked that mandatory spot when he took a fight vs a top 15 ranked heavy (okay the ranking wasnt realistic) before the title fight.

He beat the CW champ in his own backyard after 20 fights. And got off the floor to do it.

Immediately unified in what many saw as a pickem fight.

Stepped up to heavy and after one warm up took on a belt holder and won with a broken hand. In his first two fights at HW he scored 8 knockdowns in less than 16 minutes of boxing.

Two weight world champ after 24 fights.

***** all you like about him, but if there were more like him boxing would better off.

Haye fans get more delusional by the day. The fact remains the Klitschkos are the only elite hws today. Everyone else is way, way behind....If Haye was as great as he and his lunatic fans claim, he would not have struggled against the awful Valuev.

claiming a broken hand is just another excuse to try to fool people into thinking this guy is some HW destroyer:rofl

The Klitschkos dominate everyone...injuries or not...wlad busted his hand against Brewster and had a damaged shoulder against chagaev...and guess what, he won every round in those fights and stopped fighters who had never ever been stopped. he didn't ***** about injury after the fight either.

Haye is top 10 hw but a run-of-the-mill hw titlist, nothing more...nothing less. He can beat or be beaten by the rest of the top guys although I think chambers would take him to school.

He did many interviews straight after the fight. The hand was clearly bust. Trying to claim otehrwise just makes you look a fool. 8 knock downs in a little over 15 minutes at HW prior to valuev and the first person to wobble said giant. It aint bad for a start.

Please name another fighter currently fighting that has done more at HW in 3 fights. Oh thats right, you can't. Because no one comes close in such a short time at the weight.

I'm not delusional, I know his chin is solid putty but he IS an interesting fighter who makes things happen in the ring (when he hasnt broken a hand) and takes on the fights.

Funnily enough when the wlad/vitali fights were talked about it was "what has Haye done to deserve a shot?" now he ended up winning a belt elsewhere its "why didnt he fight a klitschko?" And I suspect the moans are coming from the same people.

Some will always hate Haye. Those people are not boxing fans. Boxing fans know guys like Haye dont come along all that often and you need to enjoy the ride while it lasts because it might not be long, but it'll be good wherever it goes and however long it lasts.

Why start a new thread spouting your bile? Pretty pathetic attention seeking really isn't it?
