How do you see his career unfolding?

Will he go on to dominate the HW division or will he have a couple of decent hw wins, challenge Wlad, and get destroyed never to be heard from again?

Personally, I haven't seen much of him just some youtube clips and his mormeck fight so I can't really say yet. The skills are there but his chin and D leave a lot to be desired.

The next Michael Grant Probably, his chin will be exposed against a good punching top 10 guy IMO. His power will help win him alot of fights on the come up, but his first title shot will probably end up being his last, a guy with good power and a decent chin will put to sleep.

That would be becuase peter has not koed any world class fighters and is slow with poor boxing skills, not forgetting the fact he got decked by mcline in his last fight.

not the next lewis. i don't think he'll dominate the division but i reckon he will have some success and at least hold one of the belts for a while.

    And he still won.

Haye was put down in his last fight - and still won.

The problem is Haye was put down by the CW - not a HW. If a HW put him down - he might not get up.

He's possibly got what it takes to go all the way.

His choice of trainer will matter hugely though.

He'll never be another Lewis though, heavyweights that big, clever, skilled, fearless and sane come along maybe once every thirty years.

He is Cruiserweight Champion so he has achived something so he's better than Grant but if a 40 year old senior citizen can stop him, his china chin and the lack of stamina and defence won't take him far at HW. If he is matched carefully, maybe he can win a belt, but that's it.

He's more likely a Michael Grant cuz not alot can be like Lennox who's a special heavyweight that comes along once every 20 years. I don't see what the big deal is about Haye, especially as a heavyweight.

At least, Grant scored big wins so haye would be lucky to be Grant as far as im concerened.

He could prove himself at the heavyweight division by beating someone like Ray Austin. If he could beat Austin, id be half sold.

Exactly. He'd knock out glass-jawed jokes like Fraudley or Rahman - who have even worse chins than he does - but as soon as he fights a decent top level contender, it's good-NIGHT. :nod
