I am one of the best qualified to talk on this subject, having seen all of Hayes fights and all of lennox's fights.

Hayes biggest weakness is the same as Lennox's, complacency when doing well in a fight and a dodgy defence when he is complacent.

I think that Haye will not reach Lewis's level because of the fragmented naure of the division and the fact that Wlad is around for the next 4 years. I do think he will be a top 3 heavyweight and hold a major world title belt and defend it.

The guy has excellent power, hand speed and timing. In terms of speed and power he is the best at heavweight NOW. However, he has somethings to learn defensively and needs to work on his complacent mental approach when he is winning a fight convincingly. His jab could also be more consistent, as for Lewis it was his his greatest tool.

He should do ok in the Heavyweight divison. I doubt that he will realy dominate the divison. But he should pick up a belt and if he improves his defence he can go very far.

how can you be so sure he is the best at heavy in speed and power? Especially power.
All there is to go on at this point is the Bonin win, and Bonin is not a yardstick for the top end of the division.

Yes the power thing, I cannot be certain of because there is not enough evidence at heavyweight to support that claim. We will see about the power in 2008 :deal , there is no doubt about his speed though being superior to everyone else.

He will make the top 5 for sure. I think he has very little chance against Wlad, but guys like Chagaev, Iggy, he has a chance against only if he makes major changes to his defence. Any decent heavy with good defence stands a big big chance to knock Haye out.

Haye has always stated his difficulties making weight have casused him to fight at 70%.

If true at 100% he would dominate the divison. He was knocked down by Mormck due to being weight drained.

Don't give me this crap about being weight-drained, it's ridiculous. The point isn't being knocked down by Mormeck. Mormeck was a good champion, significantly past his best (prime Mormeck would have massacred Haye) but still a solid fighter, Haye deserves credit for this win, it's by far his best yet. The point is being hurt and floored by a feather-fisted Supermiddleweight and being stopped by a 40 year old senior citizen.

Will be interesting to see how he takes a semi decent heavy weights punch full in the face,i personaly think he will be a bit like herbie hide,in the sense he has lots of power but may not have the chin at heavyweight(though he will no doubt not be near as chinny)

Funnily enough he has trained with Lewis for several of his recent fights and was once signed to Lewis`s promotional company. Haye is now with Lewis`s former manager Frank Maloney.

He is too small to be a force at heavyweight and the chin is going to be a factor, more so though is his stamina, he gets tired quick, he tried to pace it in the Mormeck fight rather than shooting the bolt early like he usually does but youd have to think going up in weight he wont get inproved stamina!

Another roblem for him is the ladies. Just check out the amount of girls, models and pornstars he collects as friends on his myspace page, he also runs contests for them to be ring girls at his fights, will he have the focus if he make sit to the top or will the distractions be too much lol.

And we all know the strength of Wlad's chin don't we?
