You have to beat the champ to be the champ.

Valuev ducked Chagaev, then ducked the mandatory challenger Kali Meehan that was also on the card and offered to fight Valuev.

I wish but I would have to sell my soul...

I know the WBA and all the alphabets are BS but Haye did win the WBA title, the real title and lose it to Wlad.

Valuev was a big bum. He said he wanted to fight Wlad in like 2008 and nothing happened. According to the officials Valuev was champ who was beat by Haye and then Wlad. Not me,that's them.

Except no one earns their shot against Wlad or Vitali going by some of the the dross they fight, Haye is clearly the number 2 HW out there just now which Vitali has acknowledged this by ducking him

I am glad he is determined to fight Vitali or have a Wlad rematch, neither of which Klitschko fans want to see for some reason???

I agree Jisi, you are one of the few fans of either Brother who realises Haye is elite and one of the best HW's out there

Haye is a good fighter and the 4th best heavyweight there is (behind Klits and Wilder) but he needs to stop doing this drama, no one cares if he doesnt come back hes acting like if he retires everyone is gonna miss him, he just wasted time retiring when he could have fought someone already

    Finally. :!:

I don't know who he's going to fight, but at least this is the right pad.

Haha, TBH I dislike Haye, but he'd beat the living **** out of Wilder, no question.
Anyway, somehow I don't believe this article and I'm dubious about Haye's motivation to return to boxing. I'd like to see him fight again, though. He always stays in great shape and could be an exciting fighter if he's properly motivated.

Not one quote at all from Haye or any of his team. Utter shite reporting from The Sun as usual.

False. Valuev had the title before that. Both Valuev and Chagaev held the title with Valuev's being the nonsense version the exact same as the current Povetkin Waldo situation.

That's serious list of contenders, even by today's standarts :rofl

42-y.o. jorneyman Pudar is 6th best contender in the world, according to WBA

If the article is true (which it probably isnt) then I could see Haye fighting for the regular WBA title after Wlad beats Povetkin

Ain't no stopping us now :party

He's a guy who got a gift decision against Denis Bakhtov after being almost knocked out in the 1st and 8th rds of the fight.

Bakhtov is his best 'win', by the way
