Vitali has a Mandatory due soon. How is that running from Haye who if you watched Haye's 2 title fights at Heavyweight that is all he did was run and not throw punches :rofl:patsch

That was a case of close but clear. It was one of the most frustrating fights I've ever seen, but even the small number of punches Haye landed was enough to take the majority of rounds over Valuev's ineffective aggression. There wasn't a great deal to separate the fighters, but it was consistently enough to see a Haye win.

You do know that Haye has had more than 2 title fights at heavyweight yet pick the only 2 which went the distance :think

Uh oh. Exactly what Haye fans fear. David getting exposed before he gets a title fight. There are several fighters who would give him fits and exploit his amateur style.

Vitali's had a mandatory due since June 2011 when Stiverne won it by beating Austin in a WBC eliminator but that hasn't stopped him fighting Adamek, Chisora and Charr.

I meant his two title fight opportunities. Yes I am aware of the ultra exciting Harrison and Ruiz bouts. How could I not be? Haye was the Heavyweight savior.

    Humiliated by Wlad
    Gift vs Valuev
    Put on ass by Barrett
    Fixed fight vs Harrison
Tagged frequently and easily by Ruiz
Win vs a perennial loser in Chisora

Yeah this Zebra will all of a sudden change its stripes overnight. I almost feel sorry for his 9 remaining fans.

So, if these reports are true, what will Haye's plan be?

For me he needs at least 2 wins against 'top' HWs before he gets a Klitschko (Wlad, I think Vitali will retire).

Assuming Wlad fights Povetkin by August and beats him, I think Haye should face and beat 2 of the following:

    Fury
    Helenius
    Pulev
    maybe Banks/Jennings

If he beat 2 of those guys I think he will have 'earned' a Wlad rematch.

I wonder what CHEF thinks of all this :think

Given the money he made out of the Audley Harrison travesty I don't see why he shouldn't go for some of these guys. He'd make alot of money, which is what David Haye is all about

I never said he 'deserved' the fight. I also never said he didn't deserve it. I pointed out that talking about 'deserving' a fight with Vitali is laughable given his usual level of opposition.

I also said there's no precedent in boxing that says losing to the Champion means you can't fight the number 2 in the division.

Mainly I'm just enjoying the klittards getting their panties in a twist and trying to pretend boxing is a tag team sport.
