I wouldn't be surprised to see Haye going to the body against Macca like he did against Mormeck as Enzo is a bit fleshy. Then he'll drop his hands and its all over. I expect a mid round Haye KO.

It was one perfectly timed bodyshot that did for Mormeck. If he lands a punch like that in Round 1 that bet should come off for you.

You got me thinking about a flutter on this fight now!

So much for that giving up gambling in 2008 lark.

IMO, Macca can't beat Mormeck today, that's why I'm picking Haye to win this one.

haye for me. no doubt enzo cvould pull it off. should be a great fight but i see haye winning this one by tko. too much skill. only chance enzo has is one good shot to the unreliable chin of haye

Where do people get this idea Mac has a better chin?

He's been KO'd by a ****ing cab driver. Since then he's been protected cleverly, and has relied on fighting on Joe's undercards

Haye has only been down to top class opposition in the pros

    Haye TKO 5

Haye must win this fight! As many on here have already said he is the far superior boxer and has all the advantages such as superior repertoire, footwork, handspeed (yes HANDSPEED magatte), and power. The only thing is I'm absolutely shitting it that he'll drop that lazy left of his and get caught with a bomb leaving Macarinelli as the reigning, undisputed. Man, I don't think I could take it. And on top of that we'd have Frank Warren smugly saying I told you so before swiftly ensuring Enzo drops the WBA / WBC belts to concentrate on making mouthwatering rematches with Bobby Gunn and Lee Swaby in defence of his obviously more prestigious WBO strap. All that said, Haye by KO within 5 rounds!

A lot of people aren't giving Enzo Mac a good chance here. At the end of the day, despite the fact he's had a relatively (relative to Haye at least) easy career he's a top level fighter with a lot of talent.

The difference is here I've watched them both from early in their careers, and whereas Enzo Mac has been decent, David Haye has looked special ever since his first fight. He had that aura of "this kid is gonna be a world champion" from day one, and I've never had that feeling with Mac. Mac was always just a big, hefty one-dimensional fighter until recently.

However, I can see Mac having some success. He has a snappy fast jab and a long reach which will land over the top of Haye's low left. If he can build combinations off that jab, he might be able to hurt Haye because he is a big puncher and Haye has a suspect chin.

I look into my crystall ball and I can see Mac having success, backing Haye up and landing with his jab and quick handspeed. But despite his success, Haye is a sharp boxer who moves well and will counter Mac coming in. Mac will be successful in the first rounds, but as soon as Haye gets his timing and unleashes his power it will totally stop Mac in his tracks. Mac has NEVER been hit by a puncher like Haye before, it will be a new experience for him, whereas Haye has been in with some vicious punchers ie Thompson and Mormeck, and has that advantage in experience.

I think that Mac may dominate and win the opening rounds, but he will get hurt badly by the 3rd and it will wreck his gameplan. After he taste's Haye's power he'll forget boxing, go back to being a slugger, and thats where Haye beats him, because in a toe-to-toe war Haye has much more experience and much more power.

I pick Haye by KO within 6, but dont write off Mac because he is a dangerous challenger.

PS If this fight were at Heavyweight, or at a limit of 210lbs, Haye would railroad him. Mac isn't a big cruiserweight, he's 6tf4 but barely reaches 200lbs. He's not as physically strong as Haye and that difference would show a lot at heavyweight.

Look at the Haye - Bonin fight. Here'll post it up

    http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=32655&cat=boxer

Thomas Bonin ISN'T a world-beater, he's not world class by any measure. He's a solid, reliable, experienced european-level journeyman who's been going round the contintent winning for years. I also saw him fight Audley Harrison, who was 6tft6 and 260lbs, and he was winning that fight til the premature stoppage. He has proved that he can handle the power of big heavyweights. He was expected to last 12 rounds. He was someone who has a track record that suggests he can handle heavyweight power. People who are saying he was garbage are wrong, he's basically a european version of Rob Calloway or Robert Hawkins, not great but not a bum, and certainly not someone who gets wiped out so easily.

And Haye absolutely demolished him. Ruined him. One of the most dominating and shocking performances of the year. The first JAB that Haye landed shook him to his core. Haye can KO heavyweights with his ****ing JAB!

Which is why you always have to pick Haye in this fight. Because as good as Enzo is, he's never done anything which has impressed me so much in his whole career. On the other hand, David Haye has been exceeding expectations his whole career.

i worry about haye boiling down to cruiserweight again

Both can hit and both can ge hurt im going 60/40 in favour of haye if at heavy it would be 100 % haye though.

Some one is getting ktfo in this one.

I dont think people should rule Enzo out here, under Team Calzaghe Enzo has been setting up punches behind the jab and can do 12 rounds easy, Haye cant.

Im still picking Hate to stop Macca, but if Enzo is still there by round 6, we could be in for a shock, because David Hayes stamina isnt up to much and he does struggle at cruiser, he would have worked hard to get down.

Haye will win via TKO inside 4 rounds.

I really think that this fight will turn out to be a miss match.

Haye holds so much more skill, boxing technique and speed than Macca that as long as he stays calm and focused and doesnt let himself get angry or careless then he should be able to dominate Macca.

It will last as long as Haye wants it to last, is my humble opinion. Depending on how much intensity Haye puts in, and whether he deicides to carry Macca because he wants the fans to get more rounds of action. Hopefully though, Haye just does his work as normal, and in that case it will not go past the 4th round.

Macca will answer the count on his second knockdown of the 4th but will be judged unfit to continue by the referee.
