~David HAYE v. Enzo MACCARINELLI ~ ANALYSIS and PREDICTION Thread ~

hell of fight,im a big fan of both,but im goin with the guy i picked to win 2years ago should it happen&thats enzo,i feel haye is underestimating him.enzo ko 5.....maybe?!haha.

 

I went for Haye KO.

My only concern is the weight issue bring Haye down to Enzos level.

Putting that to 1 side, their is 2 big issues behind my prediction.

1. The best opponent Enzo has fought was Braithwaite, who had only fought once in 2 years. Will the differnce in class tell on him? What will he do when he is up against someone with at least some advantages over him?

2. Enzos power. Obviously he can punch, but is he the banger he makes out? His last 1 punch KO I remember was against Hobson, but that was a temple shot which any puncher could do. His last before that???? For what its worth, I wouldn't be surprised if Carl Thompson was equal to him.

Also, just to add my opinion to an earlier post, I remember watching Enzo v Hobson 1, and being gutted as I thought Hobson had won.

 

Even if Enzo loses Sat. Haye leaves and Enzo is the best CW talk about a fight he can afford to lose!

 

Very few picks Enzo. I just saw few Highlights of him & workout video in the utube. Saw also the Hayemaker but he punches too wide. Hands always low, easy to get hit.

I pick the taller & crisper puncher in Enzo. I can see his Right upper & straight right landing on Haye.

One thing to note is the enzo Calzaghe factor. There's a reason why Calzaghe is still undefeated & top P4P today. That trainer Dad of him is really a good one.

Haye looks like to be overlooking this fight & will be overconfident & drained by fightnight.

I haven't seen Maccarinelli fights. I can't find one in youtube. But his workout video , the Confidence & poise he showed in the interviews makes me beleive he'll win this fight. Mac looks like a hard worker which I didn't see in Haye.

I pick Mac by 10 rd TKO- It will start to be a tactical fight, with bombs trade by rd 3. Mac can be caught by a overhand right Hayemaker but will survive then will breakdown Haye by mid rds, outboxing with Jab, Right to the body & Uppercuts. Will end it with Calzaghe style flurrys in the 10th.

Haye is a legend within his own mind. He has predicted that he will knock out Vladimir Klitscko early, no contest, can't be hurt by Vlad, sure, let him earn a shot at Vlad, meanwhile, Vlad continues to beat the top then heavyweights! Haye? He is trying to beat cruiserweights. Let him earn a shot.
