Maybe but I'm not convinced, I can see Haye landing one on Bruno's marshmallow chin and making him do the ****** dance.

don't think bruno would land his power punch! I think he would intimidate Bruno like Tyson did pre fight! And the actual fight being boring with haye backing up and bruno gun shy and around 6-8 round bruno opens up and Haye conter punches him and its all over bruno would stand like dear against ropes not knowing what happened as referee stops the fight! (haye unloads on bruno hurt against ropes)

    IMO

possibly, frank was a bit static a times and haye could have landed big ones on him. idk good matchup. it could be a repeat of the haye ruiz fight but I would never count frank out with that big right

Prime for prime, I'd pick Bruno. The Bruno who fought Witherspoon, Tyson and Lewis would KO Haye.

Prime Bruno was able to out box Lewis for several rounds and I think Haye would struggle with Bruno huge reach and heavy jab. Bruno had an even bigger reach than Wlad and didn't paw with it like Wlad did. Other than the early loss to Smith Lewis only ever lost to great fighters who would have destroyed Haye.

Haye probably has even worse stamina than Bruno, he just doesn't throw as much as Bruno did. Haye of course has a punchers chance but Bruno also had more than enough power to end it quickly. Haye has not beaten anyone at heavyweight who was good as Bruno, not Chisora, not Valuev and not an old Ruiz.

Yes Haye is much faster and if he wanted to he could blitz Bruno with his speed and power like Tyson did, but that simply isn't Haye's style. Haye likes to move and pot shot with counters. Bruno wouldn't just go straight at him like Ruiz or Chisora did, he'd sit back and jab Haye and not with the pawing jab Wlad used but a longer, stiffer, heavier jab. Bruno wouldn't give the same opportunities to counter as Chisora did. Haye would box from range where Bruno with his long reach was at his most effective.

If Haye was more of a pressure fighter and got inside where Bruno was ineffective then he'd have a better chance but he simply doesn't have the work rate to make Frank gas late and his style means he in at the perfect range for Bruno to work his jab and land the big right. Haye of course could land a big shot and end it suddenly like Lewis did but so could Bruno who had more than enough power to end it with one good shot. The bigger Bruno stops Haye in the middle rounds.

Yes, and drunk. Don't like these "What if" questions at the best of times so the beer brought out my sarcastic side

I'd pick Big Frank, although it would not be a 100% confident pick.

Haye is more of a natural than was Bruno, more of a thinker in the ring, and more fluid. Better hands as well.
But Bruno gets sold short as a technical boxer sometimes, and had a heck of a heavy jab, not to mention a huge right hand.
Bruno was stiff and a bit mechanical, but he very rarely lost a battle of the jabs. His big concern (as always) was stamina issues and lack of confidence when hit with meaty punches, where he tended to freeze up.

But Haye is a natural counter-puncher, and I believe Bruno would set the pace behind his jab.
If Bruno boxed smartly and didn't run into a big counter, I see no reason why he could not win this. I don't see Haye's chin being able to deal with a heavy Bruno right hand.
