i can just imagine the build up now. david haye: I've slayed a giant at heavyweight what have you ever done to match me? ill knock you out in a round. bellew: you won't knock me out, I'm a big big punching cruiserweight you've never fought anyone that hits as hard as i do. haye: i'll play around with you in the ring, I'm destined to be heavyweight champion again your just a stepping stone to make me some money bellew: I'm no stepping stone lad, I'm willing to die in the ring and you run about hiding with your sore toe. blah blah blah then belle would be ko'd in a very short ppv fight
Bellew won't care. .. a ppv that will smash his clev nunbers....at 33... and beat absolutely NO ONE.....he will be buzzing
Watching Adonis destroy bellew was one of my favourite fights of all time, so seeing Haye put bellew to sleep would surpass a lot of things
I don't think Haye could do 200 with comfort.. even doing 210 he might be losing something.. it's a bit dangerous to go to full heavyweight 225lbs or whatever and RJJ it.
I like Bellew but he's a contender at best. Haye is an elite P4P. The question is does Haye come straight back in to the big time or does he try to rebuild.
Oh pleeeeeaaaasse it would be embarassing, two rounds tops. Bellew pretty much admitted that the few times he sparred haye at the england camp he got rogered.
I mean slowly work his way up to a big fight/payday. Some can come back with little rust, others can't. For some it's mental, for others it's physical. Haye strikes me as a big fight fighter but it's been a while. He's not young anymore.
