Seeing as Valuev lacks any real power (relative to his size and other HWs), I didn't really see the size thing as a huge issue.

Sure, it was going to make things awkward, but personally I just saw it as a good angle to promote the fight from, but not a huge amount more.

I sat there and nodded my head sagely.

I understood at that moment that in the future Haye would fight Ruiz, Audley Harrison and then flop against Wladamir and feign a broken toe.

Some of you people don't even understand Valuev. Most, actually. School yourselves, laddies. School yourselves.

Haye put on boxing history's greatest matador performance and still the judges had to be on his side for him to win against a well-faded SNV.

I remember all of us were shocked when fight was announced some backing Valuev to retain the title, Haye won the fight with one hand, won it well IMO. It was a decent win in the context of things but when you talk big and fall short of mark people start to turn on you. David talked big and never delivered there KO's people wanted.

It was crap, he pot shotted for 12 rounds barely throwing anyhting, Evander Holyfield did a better job.

This was the end of a very good fighter despite his acclaim in public, the sloppiness against Barrett coupled with Booth/Haye thinking they only have to throw a few punches a round against taller men basically meant he had a very slim chance against Wlad.

Against guys his size he threw more but was sloppy. Not the same fighter at cruiser.

He was favourite in the Paris fight wasn't he?

    That wasn't so bad.

Hey, how could i forget that fight. It was indeed a good fight. But even a blind squirrel can have a good day and find an acorn once in a while. Maybe i'm being too harsh on TC. Maybe it was just the thought of imagining him and Kendall Jenner Holt together that freaked me out.

But i think it's a case of, if we've seen this once we've seen it a hundred times with TC. I just don't like someone who is simply not strong enough in the cerebral sense even though his game is based on that and showing angles, movement, plan B and C, etc.

I'll give him credit, in that fight he had an athletic adrenaline getting up from a kd and then going back to work. But i think he's a fish out of water. A quick look back at all his excuses pre and post Arnaoustis will show you a weak disposition and not even a Friday Night Fights regular. Same goes for Jenner Holt.

I really like TC's personality though. He talks real greasy. Has that midwest mindset and confidence. No doubt hanging on to the Mayweather coattails has had some of that swagger rub off on him.

As for the fight, TC might be a sitting duck for Kendall Jenner specially since TC thinks he's an out-fighter slickster now the way he's talking and ever since beating an H1N1 infested fighter a while back gave him a false sense. Kendall implores that same gameplan as Vernon Pah-ree and TC goes to sleep by a long barreled shotgun. But then you never know with Kendall. What with his habitual inclination to fall asleep at the wheel. We'll probabily get car crash tv. Rated R!

My thoughts were 'Haye better do something special because I'm damned if I didn't just get suckered into buying a Valuev fight'

Boring fight and a super negative performance against a top ranked, but pretty poor contender. The moment in the 12th when Haye buzzed the giant was ace.
