    Dear Friends
    kind regards
Today we continue with our David Haye 10 match Fantasy Warfare special.
David Haye is known to be quite a quick puncher as he has shown here against John Ruiz.

James "Buster" Douglas was also a similar boxer in terms of his quickness as he demonstrated here in his shocking win over Mike Tyson.

Who wins in a match over twelve rounds between these two men prime for prime?
    I await your views.
    yours thankfully
    John

You must have not seen that ass whoopin' Buster got immediately after he beat Tyson. Talk about a huge let down to see that Tyson got beat by someone who wasn't worth ****.

    Dear papadoc28
    kind regards
Well the fact of the matter is that whilst Tyson looked shoddy in his match against Douglas part of it was to do with the challenger's determination to win.
Douglas won fair and square against Tyson that night and would have given any Heavyweight trouble.
Everyone knows that Douglas was pretty much overweight and undertrained for his match up against Holyfiekd so your analogy isn't a good one this time.
    yours thankfully
    John

Which Douglas? The one prior to beating Tyson who stayed in decent shape and gave a ****, or the one who got PPV dollars and fat immediately afterward?

I'd give the first one a good shot of beating Haye. He had a good jab and could have piled up some early rounds before they both gassed.

The fat one loses an incredibly boring, inactive fight.

Depends on what Douglas shows up, the in shape motivated Douglas would probably win, the fat one that didn't care would lose.

Well Mike Tyson wasn't prepared, barely trained, and spent more time in the clubs than he did in the gym. Buster's very next fight he basically did what Tyson did. Buster's mama should have died and came back to life for all his fights if that is what truly motivates him. Mike's power was the only thing that kept him in the fight at all. The question is would Buster have been successful if Tyson had shown up in true form?:think So I say this fight ends in a draw.

Put it this way..... even the unmotivated, undertrained Tyson that lost to Douglas, would still slaughter Gaye within 2.

That should answer your question on who wins between Gaye and Douglas.
