He went to France and beat Mormeck plus he boxed all over the world as a amateur.

It makes you a more seasoned fighter.

Pherhaps thats why Calzaghe struggled so much with Hopkins in America - he was more use to fighting Tocker Pudwill at Cardiff Ice Rink

Hopkins in Las Vegas was a major step up on that - Calzaghe done well to pull it off - just !!!

 

Could also be that Hopkins is vastly superior to Mormeck and that a 1 hour time difference in Paris is easier to get used to than a 5-8 hour difference when fighting in the USA.

hayes confidence is one of his best assets, most wlad opponents of late are beat before they even start fighting so already this fight is gonna be different for wlad, how will he cope with someone he knows he cannot intimidate and has no doubts that he will spark wlad out

 

I believe he'll win, he circles the big fighters, he aint like a pudgy fat midget who walks into predictable jabs, hes got long arms and can throw lead right hands from distance, i see him doing what mayweather did to hatton, lead right hands from distance then get out the way quick
