Thats exactly right and fair. I mean I am a Haye fan here and cant believe the garbage Haye is coming out with. 50-50 across the board is as fair as you can get IMO. And Haye is the fighter thats had a lucky gift decision against Valuev and 1 defense against an old Ruiz. What was he now 38??? Anyway 50-50 deal IMO is generous towards Haye as he's the paper champ here and knows the Klits are the real established recognised champs. Haye is defo the one being unreasonable here. Selling himself so highly when he's not been a heavyweight that long. People generally think the Klits WILL beat Haye but the fascination with Haye is in the "he's a young in shape fighter with speed and power..so there's an exciting what if possibility in any of his fights".

The thing I took from the video is he DIDNT say it WASN'T GONNA BE AGAINST AUDREY. atsch Which is close to saying it will be! Why? Because he knows all the talk thats going on here and around about fans thinking its a farce matchup. Yet he didn't say it wasn't going to be him. IF it wasn't wouldn't that be the first thing you'd say? "I'll announce an opponent in the next few days but dont worry fans its not going to be Audrey!"

Haye IMO hasn't taken this fight because he knows its a **** or bust fight and there's a strong chance he will lose his cash cow paper belt. Thats why he wants a couple of easy paydays before he has to fight a Klit and back up all the words he wishes he hadn't spoken previously. Funny how once he gets a paper title he goes all quiet. Time to MAN UP HAYE!! Fight Audrey and we will have guessed rightly the game your playing. Its called playing it safe and cashing in your chips.

Looks like Haye is trying to save face and then drum up interest for his next fight. Still hoping it's not Audley but I fear it will be.

 

Haye is effectively saying to the Klits:

option one: break your existing PPV contact in Germany (and take any blacklash that will follow) and then take 50/50 for the right to fight me

option two: take less than 50/50

I think if the Klits are really offering a contract with no rematch clauses (which no camp seems to want to be clear about) then Haye is being unreasonable with these offers because the Klits hold or have held more HW titles for longer

i remember when Haye was the guy on the stairs who wanted to fight the best - i liked that guy alot

 

Haye on the stairs didnt have a paper title. Different story now. And its not a PPV fight on RTL in Germany.

Wlad offered 50-50 across the board that is simply dead fair.

 

There is no meaningful PPV in Germany.
The Klitschko´s have a contract for a number of events with RTL and can´t get out of it. That´s why another TV-Station is out of question. Even if it was possible, no other tV-station could pay more than RTL. And I bet Haye knows this. So I guess his offer to switch to another TV-station is just bs.
