Yet again everything is your opinion with no facts involved.... just anything to slate Haye. Stop making up your own scenarios to suit your argument

No, he isn´t. He is a draw, but looking worldwide surely not more than Wladimir or Vitali.

    Then tell me something else.

Let's assume Haye wants to fight Wlad next year (after Sauerland's options expired). Do you think Haye will use the same excuses about RTL and "UK PPV" money then? Or will he magically find 50-50 of the total pot perfectly acceptable -- when Sauerland doesn't have a finger in the pie?

Haye made a lot of money against Valuev. As in, maybe double Wlad's career purse.

Some of the money Amir Khan was making, just from UK TV money? As in making $3 million in the ring, after 15 pro fights?

UK TV money will be most of the deal, I imagine. Which is probably why they're such an issue.

Haye will feel he's the bigger draw, in the fight, period. Wlad will think he holds the power, as he's the champ

He almost certainly is. HBO and Showtime have both basically said that they're not interested in any heavyweight fight from now on, unless it involves Haye.

Wlad's last fight was shown, free, on ESPN 2 in the states. I think the entire US TV money for the bout was about $300'000.

Haye made millions, in ring, versus Valuev.

indeed it is the 2 fighters together that make this fight a draw but without Haye you don't have UK PPV which going off previous RTL payments to Wlad and Hattons figures against Pac and Mayweather... Haye could generate up to 60% of the overall revenue just through UK PPV. Also a Haye v Wlad fight is the only HW fight HBO are interested in which means more money.... which is only generated if Wlad fights Haye so yes because of the revenue Haye brings in a fight with Wlad he does deserve 50-50 in the same way Hatton did with Mayweather

My problem with your comments, is you seem to think that it's 100% Haye's fault that he's not accepting the awful contract Wlad is demanding.............

Like, shouldn't Wlad just start playing fair?

50-50% of the total pot with no options is awful???? Then why did Haye ask for EXACTLY this before?? Then he gets it and it's "awful"???

Next year may also be when Wlads RTL contract expires... you're just clutching at straws to try to discredit Haye and are making up fantasy scenarios to do so

I think much of it is actually the US boxing media.

American fans tend to be blue collar, and like a black guy, who wears bling, and dresses like a rapper, to shout and scream at. It sells fights.

They paint Wlad as the all conquering, white, blue collar hero, and Haye as the Mayweather type.

The actual truth is, you look at both guys careers, and their history of negotiating, and making concessions, taking big fights, and I'd be amazed if it's actually Haye that's the big problem here.

You are talking the guy that unified a division in 19 pro fights, and went to Germany to take on Valuev in his second ever fight at the weight? Valuev was world champ for 5 years, and Wlad never once fancied unifying the WBA belt.

As I said, I've been reading all of this stuff about TV money being the issue for months in the European media.

Unfortunately, all that sells magazines in the states is "coward, chicken, slick black rapper, bling wearer, won't fight masterful, blue collar white guy.............."

Call me dumb, but what the fu** is unfair for a contender/beltholder to fight the HW Champ for a "50/50 with no options" split? Booth said there was/is that offer? If Haye is really in for the legacy and not only for a long reign with B-C Level fighters with low risk why isn´t he accepting it?

IF he beats Wlad then he is the Champ and can make the contracts...
